Fantastic Evening

My sister and I enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers, main dish and dessert. I ordered the smoked squid ink lobster pasta, which I found absolutely delicious. It was a fantastic experience with a very attentive staff. I could tell it was quite a popular place even though we arrived very early in the... read more

We had read several professional reviews about the Brewster Fish House before travelling to Cape Cod and all were good unlike some of the picky comments on Trip Advisor. So we decided to have our anniversary meal there. Wow! The food was first class (lobster special was stunning) and the service was excellent - so friendly and helpful. We had... More

We've been to BFH twice. The food and drinks were excellent both times. Last night, however, after being told to expect a table for our party of six in about half an hour, we waited an hour and a half. We asked if we could order first courses or nibbles outside or at the bar and were told that was... More

Great food, great service. Possibly the best lobster bisque on the planet (and that includes Reykjavik). Downside? They don't take reservations and it's a rather small place, so even if you go early you may have to wait a bit. Also, it is a noisy room (most noise coming from the bar area). However, for me the food is worth... More

We went there for lunch and came back in the eve after a round of golf The lobster bisque for lunch as well as the linguine with scampis were great. For dinner we've chosen tuna and lemon sole among others: really great Together with a great service everything was top quality, especially in comparison to other places around. A good... More

Just had dinner here last night and it was wonderful. The place is family owned and operated and I was actually surprised to find a restaurant of this caliber here in Brewster. Earlier in the week we were in Boston and dined at L'Espalier and Menton and the courses we had here were on par with those restaurants. The place... More

My hubby and I (both early forties), have spent the past two weeks travelling around Cape Cod. I stopped writing reviews after day one to save them until the day we leave in an attempt to fairly compare. Brewster Fish House (BFH) appeared to be highly recommended, we knew it would be expensive and were not deterred by that. BFH... More

We were led to expect very fresh seafood but the lobster bisque was milky and limited in the amount of lobster and in fact my wife became ill after the meal

I have been to a lot of restaurants and eaten more than my fair share of clam chowder, lobster bisque, and crab cakes. I have to say, Brewster Fish House is the best I have ever had in the US! Perfect clam chowder, delectable lobster bisque, and a brilliant Maine peekytoe crab cake with panchetta-leek tart and petite greens in... More

The menu is small and trying to be classy. The food is ok, but the prices are too high for what you get. It appears to be an average fish place, but they attempt to be fine dining on the inside. I say "fine dining" loosely as you can't use your cellphone, the clientele is ancient, the decor is RUSTIC... More
