No reservations? Well, I guess if they can keep the tables full all summer long, then why not? I'd assume that this maximizes turns and gives the most amount of people a chance to enjoy the good food. We took the advice of the very helpful man who answered the phone when we tried to make reservations and showed up... More

My girlfriend and I had a really good time at the Fish House. We had to wait a 45 minute outside but we didn't regret. The food was very good and was exactly what we were looking for. Good ambiance and great service!

After a 45 minute wait at this popular restaurant we were served the best seafood we've had in the cape. Tuna ceviche was refreshingly fresh, tart and spicy and scallops, crab crusted cod was delicious. The charred octopus was imaginatively prepared. Service was attentive. Cocktails were ok but not their specialty. Had to pass on the desserts.

Have driven by this place for years--finally decided to try it, partly based on TripAdvisor reviews. So very glad we did. Because they don't take reservations, it meant leaving the beach early to get there before 5pm and put our name in, but sooo worth it! The seafood bisque is a popular first course, and deservedly so. The Wellfleet oysters... More

We happened to have lunch at the Fish House, and were very disappointed, my Husband had the Cod, which was dull and unappetizing in appearance. I had the Cioppino which would have been OK had it not been for the mussels, which were loaded with sand. When I mentioned this to the waitress she just shrugged and said "Oh, lots... More

This place is fantastic. Seriously, one of - if not the best scallops I have had in my life. You can't go wrong. Well worth the wait, which you will most likely have to do. Serve full menu at the bar if you can grab a seat.

Highly rated and worth it. Two in group had the luncheon cioppino and it was awesome. Good wine list. Not cheap as an upscale luncheon for four was $160, but worth the splurge.

It had been four years between visits to the Cape and the Brewster Fish House. ... Had to admit -- while surfing the smartphone while sitting in the parking lot while patiently waiting for a Wednesday 5 p.m. seating -- I took notice of some of the more picky and persnickety TripAdvisor reviews of the place. Very happy to report... More

Very popular! A good sign....recommended by folks at the hotel. My review: The should be a four star review. It was just a few little things that made me go to a three rating. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the host. Always a good sign when you know, and it was evident to be true, that... More

We arrived at the fish house to find that we had a wait of 1 hr 15 min. We decided to wait. Had a hard time getting a drink. Waited outside patiently, only to find that 2 women and a man pulled up went inside and were seated immediately. When my husband questioned the hostess she said " I'll explain... More
