Great service

Ate here with the husband and 2 sons on our first night in Brewster. Place is very small and charming, but service was great! Food was over-priced, small portions, but pretty good. Flavor could be a little better, but presentation was beautiful.

When we are in the area this has been a restaurant we have visited in the past and enjoyed. It is nice to find consistency, the Oysters and the Halibut were up to our memories of previous meals, we look forward to our next visit. We passed our dessert and went to the Sundae School in Harwich Port for Ice... More

Great food and service. Unfortunetly we were seated next to the toilet with people coming and going all the time. Many users left the toilet door open.

Had dinner here both nights in town, and both were outstanding. The Seafood Chowder is rich and creamy, Scallop Civiche fresh and delightful, Salmon perfect, Duck delicious and adventurous. Had the cheese plate and it was simply divine - likely the best I've had in years. Presentation was outstanding. Sat at the bar and John the Barkeep, looked after me... More

My wife and I have been coming to the Cape every summer since college (an embarrassingly long time ago), and we've enjoyed countless fine and even wonderful meals at numerous restaurants over the years. But the Fish House just topped them all. We decided to try the Fish House when our reservation at Chill's Bistro wasn't honored, and were we... More

We arrived spontaneously with no reservations and were promptly taken care of. It was early so we were promptly sat, and enjoyed the best meal we had on our latest visits to the Cape. The service was swift and polite and the food delivered quickly; quite an accomplishment as the restaurant was packed within 10 minutes of our seating. I'll... More

Guys this is such a special restaurant. It feels like a true family run business but with all the modern yet cosy design elements. Their menu is great and the fish even better. I loved the wine also. The prices are reasonable as well. I had oysters which were amazing and also the tuna. Both dished were beautifully decorated and... More

We arrived early they open at 5. The owner I assume greeted us at the door and explained they weren't open for another 20 minutes but suggested we have drinks at the bar. He was very pleasant and friendly. When 5 rolled around they filled up instantly in hind sight we should have made a reservation but who knew! When... More

Another summer and another dinner at the Brewster Fish House. Excellent as always. Drinks were great, appetizers, a crab cake and tuna special were delicious! Entrees excellent and then desserts that were consumed within minutes! Wait staff and hostess were pleasant and inviting.

I am very pro that dinner plates in MA are too huge. But I have to say the portions could be 25% larger at the Fishhouse. The lobster bisque is the best that I ever had. Get the cup, the bowl is not much more. My tuna was fantastic, but my better half had way over done thin salmon. The... More
