Wish I read these reviews before I wasted 100$. Bathroom dirty toilet plugged garbage overflowing floors sticky sink scrimey just gross. Food terrible medium rare steak was a hockey puck and pre sliced? What happened to the menu? This was once a very nice place to have dinner drinks and good conversations. There were no other patrons but us? Management... More

TERRIBLE!!! Our daughter (8 years old) accidentally left her purse. When she went to get it a few days later and couldn't find it, we backtracked and realized she left it at the Starvin' Marlin. We spoke with the manager who (unapologetically) admitted the cash was taken out of the purse (all of her birthday money) and that he (personally)... More

When we arrived for lunch we thought it was closed as there were no cars and no signs of life. We went in anyway and were pleased to see they were open, but just quiet as usual. Not sure why, food and service were both great for adults and kids (as they have been in the past), and nice to... More

Went in between meal periods for a drink at the bar......ended up also enjoying 2 appetizers. Excellent potato skins...definitely a great sharing option. Also terrific is the Quahogs. I am from the area on LI where the recipe originates.....I believe that memory came through in every bite! They are served sans shell.....pan fried almost like two crabcakes. Original and most... We went in for dinner a couple of weeks ago as we were on vacation at ocean edge. We went last year and love the duck club and surf and turf sandwich. We new something was different when the fish where off the wall. We looked at the menu and it changed all our favorites were gone. It was filled... More

THis is basically a bar room with food service. Very dark and empty at dinner time which should have given us a clue. The menu was typical bar selections, we did not stay.

We love this place: a nice range on the fairly priced menu, all of which we've found to be good. We ate on the back deck last night and had a great time. We started with lamb sliders and brie. Entrees: lobster rolls ($16 on the Cape, very fair price), BBQ plate (brisket and pulled pork), baked flounder, and ribs.... More

I was staying around the corner from this place, so it's become the local. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Perfect if you just want to have a bite to eat with some friends.

Recently ate at the The Starvin Marlin as we arrived late in Brewster and was looking for a place close to Ocean's Edge. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the excellent service we received. We actually enjoyed it enough to go back a second time during our stay on the Cape. Rather broad inexpensive menu of... More

Drove by this place many times - exterior is plain and does not make you stop. Don't make that mistake! This is a great little neighborhood bar and restaurant with fabulous food. Some members of our family are foodies and they loved the menu choices and thought the quality was top-notch. We will not miss visiting it on this year's... More
