I know that this restaurant was highly recommended, and the reviews have always been good, but we didn't necessarily have the best experience. Although the waitstaff and bartenders were friendly and courteous, they delivered the wrong order to one of us, my baked potato was undercooked, and we had to hold one dinner order so that we could eat at... We always enjoy the Fairview and because there was a full moon, decided that's where we'd eat last nite. It was Sat. nite in Aug. so it was very busy. Outside seating would have been great but it was a 30 min. wait. We were seated inside right away at a table facing the water along the windows which was... More

Good service and a willingness to accommodate requests. Great for family, couples, or a drink at the bat. Valet parking is nice.

From the warm rolls to grilled pizza to the veal scaloppini we've had a great meal every time we've come. For a place with such great food, the atmosphere is surprisingly casual. Service was top notch.

Recently visited this local restaurant having a great meal. Very nice wine list and a great variety of foods to choose from. With four in our party three of us tried the shrimp/chicken jambalaya which was full of large sized shrimps and chunks of chicken served over creole styled rice. Flavors were excellent. The fourth at our table ordered salmon... More

My wife's grandparents had a summer cottage a block away from the old Fairview Inn, so we were familiar with it, but didn't frequent it that much as it had fallen on hard times. In 1998 it burned down, but was ultimately rebuilt to its former glory. Over the last decade we have been impressed as it reverted to being... More

We visit the Fairview often. It has a warm and friendly staff and excellent food. It is family friendly and just a great place to celebrate any occasion. They are happy to help you with your food preferences. They are very helpful to those with Celiac disease or if you need heart healthy options. We enjoy the Fairview.

Love this restaurant! The food is always good. I've had everything from seafood to salads. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Early evening dinner on the deck is the best, but dinners inside by the fireplace on a cold night can't be beat. Wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is very busy most of the time, so reservations... More

Marvelous old inn completely rebuilt to original after a fire sits above Atlantic rocks. Fine dining and pub bar. Great food , casual atmosphere, and fair prices. Summertime must see and wintertime roaring fireplaces make this restaurant a "special" pick

We have been going to the Fairview for years and it's always excellent. The ocean views - especially from the open deck in the summer are "only the beginning". The food is consistently good, and no one makes a better drink at the bar than Leeann and Karen. Paul and Betty Disch make you feel like you've come home whenever... More
