The service was great as was the food but the place is too small. An intimate setting is great but being overwhelmed by the fragrance the woman at the next table is wearing is not. You are in the middle of the other tables conversation as well. Certainly that out weighs the service and the food.

Sintra is a warm & inviting little spot with an innovative Portuguese/Italian menu under the very capable direction of Chef Brian Jenkins. Since their expansion & renovation several years ago the restaurant is much easier to locate with a front door access now on the main street in South Braintree Square in addition to the old one from their rear... If you want a little taste of Boston without the parking hassels and the long wait lines, you will enjoy Sintra. My husband and I like to go for special occasions and sometimes just for their delicious Mussels and some wine. I have not been disappointed by anything and I think I have just about gone thru the menu. Sintra... More

Have the short rib cannelloni if it's available, it's one of the best dishes I've had in a restaurant! This was our first visit, and if I'm lucky enough to be on the East coast again, I'll make the effort to dine here again.

Amazing food at great prices. Chef Brian's first location after leaving the city. Loyal customer from opening weekend. Food is always perfectly done, portions are shareable and the seats at the bar are our favorite. We are never disappointed.

Italian with Portuguese influences. Fresh seasonal dishes. The arugula salad with grilled peaches, YUM! The deconstructed ravioli was creative and scrumptious. The wine list was average in quality, yet reasonably priced in todays overpriced market. Above average service and pleasant surroundings.Overall a very nice neighborhood fine.

cute little restaurant, kind of a hidden location. They have parking in the back which is great, and a back entrance. it's very convenient. Food is so good, everything we tried was amazing. The mussels were very fresh and the pizzas were delicious. Highly recommend!!

It's very hard to find good, inventive foods out in the suburbs. Most serious chefs seem to prefer the heart of the city, where dining out is de rigueur. Which is what makes Sintra such a welcome spot in Braintree, Massachusetts. Serving Portuguese and Spanish specialties, this restaurant is always packed, regardless of the day of the week. Service is... More

Although the restaurant is on one of the main streets in town, it wasn't easy to find. The front of the restaurant and its sign at unlit. We passed by it several times, not realizing its exact location. The food was average. Our waitress was nice, but overworked. It took a long wait to get our main course because of... More
