Italian with Portuguese influences. Fresh seasonal dishes. The arugula salad with grilled peaches, YUM! The deconstructed ravioli was creative and scrumptious. The wine list was average in quality, yet reasonably priced in todays overpriced market. Above average service and pleasant surroundings.Overall a very nice neighborhood fine.

cute little restaurant, kind of a hidden location. They have parking in the back which is great, and a back entrance. it's very convenient. Food is so good, everything we tried was amazing. The mussels were very fresh and the pizzas were delicious. Highly recommend!!

It's very hard to find good, inventive foods out in the suburbs. Most serious chefs seem to prefer the heart of the city, where dining out is de rigueur. Which is what makes Sintra such a welcome spot in Braintree, Massachusetts. Serving Portuguese and Spanish specialties, this restaurant is always packed, regardless of the day of the week. Service is... More

Although the restaurant is on one of the main streets in town, it wasn't easy to find. The front of the restaurant and its sign at unlit. We passed by it several times, not realizing its exact location. The food was average. Our waitress was nice, but overworked. It took a long wait to get our main course because of... More

My wife and I are "foodies" but can't always make the trip into Boston if we're interested in a nice night out. Given that we're local, Sintra is a our choice if we want a nice meal without the drive. Food here is always well prepared, the wine selection is good (although not extensive) and the portions are just about... More

I have been to Sintra over a couple dozen times over the past few years and I can honestly say the food is always top notch. They are constantly changing the menu to keep things fresh, great place for a date or a business meal. Dining area is small, so I would recommend making reservations.

This place regularly changes it's menus with season and keeps it fresh. The food is top chef quality, with decent prices. You can get great quality of food same as downtown high end eateries bit less cost. Love the bread and dipping oils.

Husband, son and I went here on a Friday night. This restaurant had rave reviews and i am not sure why. First course arugula, peach goat cheese salad. It tasted like they dripped it in salt first. Oysters were ok they couldn't do much wrong there. Second course broken ravioli. Tasted like shrimp in bland chicken stock. It was awful.... More

my only complaint is location, not easy to park anywhere in South Braintree square they do have their own dedicated spaces behind the building. Great wine list ,great appetizers, and wonderful food prepared perfectly.
