Good food. Disappointed ran out of Haddock. Miss having the owner/chef there. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
We have eaten here several times and every time the dining experience has been outstanding. The food, the service and everything about the place is top notch. Tonight, my wife and I, along with two other couples that we have not a seen for 8 months had dinner here. We were there for 3:15 and the waitress took our drink... More
We had dinned here in the past a few times and were extremely pleased with our meals. This time we found it to be a bit disappointing. My cod was salty and dry. The sauce was different than the delicious lemon yogurt sauce I always loved. The menu appeared smaller, with less American choices of entries. However, overall the dinner... More
I have been to this reaturant twice. One had lamb and the second time rissoto. Both meals where served to perfection. The dishes are presented well and the waite staff are friendly and accomidating.
I am a Foodie and eat out frequently. I can not believe that I did know that this restaurant existed. I have eaten there twice. Both times food was great and good service. The Crab/Cod-cake with field greens appetizer was scrumptious. Duxbury oysters on half shell with lemoncello mignonette was very nice. On my first visit I tried the pork... More
What a lovely casual upscale restaurant in the heart of Braintree, a friendly little suburb of Boston. Sintra has a great ala carte menu, I went with the pasta with Portuguese (chorizo) sausage, salad and roll. Large portion, very good, not rushed on ordering and enjoyed a very relaxing meal with my wife and my sister (the local who recommended),... More
We were a bit worried given a couple of the reviews we read but we ended up being as happy as we were when we first ate here a couple of years ago. We had the crab and fish cakes which were superb. Then we had a weird but wonderful flatbread with blue cheese. Then we had the smaller plate... More
This spot use to be much better. Not sure what's going on with it. The food is Boston prices and quality okay. Nothing great about it. They close by 9:00 on weekends. Use to be much better quality of food and service. Seems like the owner, chef - is either tired of it or wants out. Okay nothing great.
When eating at Sintra, you will feel, like you are in some fancy downtown restaurant. This place is very good, and quite popular with .braintree locals willing to spend some money. It is off the beaten path, and for you out of owners... Find it. You'll be glad you escaped the sameness of all the restaurants at or near the south... More
