In Beverly Farms center, Cygnet is consistently great. Dollar oysters weeknights 4-6 are a big draw, outdoor terrace seating in the summer, local parking isn't bad. I tend to order combinations of appetizers there that have included beef tenderloin tataki, roasted figs with blue cheese and balsamic honey dressing, pepper crusted tuna sashimi, sometimes gazpacho, Caprese tomato salad with mozzarella,... We had lunch in the cozy courtyard surrounded by plants, flowers and art on the walls. The quiche of the day was excellent, as was the pasta with chicken livers, bacon and balsamic vinegar. Not cheap at $12-13 each, but worth it. The interior is elegant and wood-paneled with an impressive bar.

A gem of a restaurant and well worth the trip! Though it was not on the menu, I was able to choose 5 vegetable sides as my entree and they were all delicious! The server was excellent and the service was reasonably fast. Worth the money!

This restaurant has the finest wine selection in the Beverly area. We started our wine selection off with a bottle of 2011 Wilmette Valley Pinot Noir Bethel Heights. I brought guests from China and Florida for the Oysters. They loved their first taste of New England sea food. I had the Filet which was prepared perfect to taste and heat.... More

Not that the North Shore does not have classic, fancy restaurants, but the general fare is more seafood, ethnic, and informal. The Cygnet is different. It is a class, soft-lighting, comfortable upscale restaurant. The waiter was great and the food was excellent. It is a good spot for a celebration or anniversary meal. Although only 5 or 6 minutes from... More

Cygnet is a classic: talented mixologists behind the bar, excellent service, a menu loaded with good choices, and a really comfortable place to enjoy good company. The restaurant is totally dependable; it fits us like a glove.

One of the nicest features of Cygnet is the seating which allows comfortable conversation at each table. One this Friday at lunch, there were some grandparents and their offspring, ladies lunching, one or two regulars at the bar, and ourselves were catching up at leisurely paces. The Salad Nicoise was my choice and easily the best at the table for... More

On our recent visit we were constantly bothered by flies while trying to eat our lunch. Not one fly...but many flies, one even got stuck in my brother-in-law's mayo... We spoke to the owner about his fly problem...his answer was: You get flies in September and October, not much you can do about it. As he was speaking to us...flies... More

Food, service and atmosphere was very good. If you are in the area this one is worth it. Very pleasant with good selections and moderate prices.

Enjoyed my recent dinner at Cygnet (first time I visited). It was quite empty on a Tuesday evening, so we got a nice corner table close to the window. Server was efficient and friendly. I had an Asian-inspired tuna appetizer, served almost raw (as it should be) with a spicy coating. Chose the halibut as my entree - perhaps a... More
