Yummy Italian food and drink in a local restaurant.

My co-workers treated me to dinner to celebrate my retirement. We went on a Wednesday evening and I was very surprised by how crowded it was. For a larger crowd they offer two group options, the "Fiat" and the "Ferrari". We selected the "Fiat" the less expensive option. The food was delicious... read more

We made a reservation for 8 people for 8pm Saturday night. We arrived and were seated right away as we had not seen each other in quite some time we wanted to take our time to catch up. When it came time to order drinks we ordered 2 bottles of wine and one mixed drink a malibu rum diet coke... More

Tough to get a reservation because it is so popular. Staff is very attentive, many from Italy. Had a rib eye the other night - succulent! I usually go for the bolognese with pasta - my favorite.

This is our go-to place for birthday or anniversary dinners. Although slightly noisy, this former firehouse has a wonderful ambiance, incredibly attentive waiters and delicious food. The whole dining experience is quite special. It is not inexpensive, but we always really enjoy our time there. I have lots of dietary restrictions, and they go the extra mile to make sure... More

We were a table of 2 couples, one in their 20's and one closer to 60. Il Casale met all our desires for that mix of traditional with an updated flare Italian food. The restaurant is in a great space inside a former brick firestation. Staff was very friendly and informed, helpful without being unctuous. For appetizers we shared the... More

Located in the center of town in the old firehouse, Il CASALE offers Italian dining at its finest. Everything tastes good. Since you must order items individually (no side dishes included with entree) it can be pricey - potato with that steak $8, green beans $8, pasta $12, etc. Reservations highly recommended other wise you'll be spending some time in... Went with the family early Saturday night, without reservations. We were lucky a table was available. Recommend making reservations on busy nights. The food and service were amazing. Service was fast, wine recommendation hit the spot. We each ordered a daily special, great decision!! Young daughter ordered spaghetti with cheese and butter. It was delicious and served promptly.

Our realtor suggested Il Casale after we finished looking at houses in Belmont. Extraordinary choice! The ambiance upon entering told us we were in the right restaurant. The Italian tapas concept works perfectly. We had the calamari which was lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned. The muscles were extraordinary in a flavorful broth. We tried both the Italian and pork meatballs.... More

If you've ever been to a restaurant - well bar actually - where the bartenders are very professional, you recognize it and want to go back again and again. Il Casale not only has excellent food and a really great wine selection (by the glass too), they have the best bartenders around. They remember you, the are attentive, the make... More

What a gem, and what a joy to have in Belmont Center! The menu is innovative and changes frequently, while the pasta is the best around. In its six years, it has remained packed and busy during the week, surely a testament to its quality. It can be a bit tough to hear when it's crowded, but it's worth raising... More
