On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 5. It was quaint and quite crowded. Drink service was exceptionally slow. The ribeye was about 1/8 inch thick and covered with some kind of BBQ sauce but it was properly cooked medium rare. My advice to the dream away - hire a second bartender and buy some decent... More

First, the good: the place itself, straight out of Twin Peaks (inside & out) - the food is very good, especially the burger. Cool place to listen to music. Then, there is the bad: service can be spotty, and at the bar on a busy night you can expect to wait awhile. They could use an extra hand or two... More

Seems this place which is oh so cool could be even better with a few tweaks I was lucky enough to be there for J Mascis's solo performance in the living room/music room. The upside was seeing a legendary musician play in a space the size of my parents' living room. Literally close enough to scare him. The down side... More

The food is good, the atmosphere is quirky, interesting and fun. Don't even think about bringing in a gift (cupcakes in a covered package - unopened, uneaten.) The owner will chew your head off, throw a tantrum, and embarrass you publicly, along with anyone else in your party. I may or may not go back for another humiliation.

As their web site says, don't depend on your GPS, follow their directions and you'll be fine. Recommended by many locals, it's off the beaten path but worth the trip. We arrived a hour before our reservation and got drinks and headed to the bonfire out front. Met people from Washington state, Becket MA, and another from RI. Also met... More

The Korean barbeque pork was amazing - melt in your mouth good. The service was friendly and attentive. Loved the funky atmosphere and live music. AND Arlo Guthrie was there just hanging out so we got to meet him.

I was really looking forward to return to the Dream Away. However, I was very disappointed and will not return. My meal was not edible. My friend had duck and that was tough and subpar.

this is a charming house, with eclectic and fun decor, and a charming garden. However, it seems to be hanging it's reputation on this charm, and the food is extremely disappointing. The attempts at eclectic ethnic food are watered down and boring. The burger was terrible. Appetizers and desserts were better. I would reccomend this place for a drink and... More

When is it okay for a owner to call his customer a schmuck?!! Really!! The owner over reacted to one of his time torches being moved. Not a big deal buddy! I move them all the time at home. It isn't a reason to call a paying customer a schmuck. Food not so great, kind of inedible.
