Quintissential Cape Cod Dinner

This was our first meal on the Cape, and delivered exactly what we were looking for. The views of the sunset in the dining room are spectacular. Food wise - we started with Quahogs, stuffed & baked clams. We'd never heard of these being from the midwest, but I want to start making them myself! Then... read more

We have been here several times. They have consistently great food and the service is always is fine. Best for seafood. Prices are consistent with the location and the food. Will continue to return here.

It's the whole package! The food, view, and service are top notch! I always get the broiled haddock and it's consistently amazing. Hope to fit in one more time before they close this season. Yummy!!!

Was just here with my new wife while on our honeymoon. Our waitress barely checked on us throughout the meal. Her chicken parm was sub-standard with jarred sauce and pre-made frozen then thawed chicken. No time in between appetizer and main course. We're not even Italian and make better chicken parm than this place. Waitress seemed more concerned about her... More

Terrific seafood dinner ... excellent scallops, our favorite! And the location of our table caught the last of a lovely sunset with views of the harbor and the sand dunes beyond. A perfect setting for our last night on Cape Cod.

We arrived with a friend for the early bad specials. After a drink and leisurely conversation, we ordered appetizers. Oysters on the half-shell and fried calamari. Delicious plump oysters and tender squid. We all ordered crispy fried flounder with capers and red onion. Served with green beans and roasted red potatoes, the meal was scrumptious. We enjoyed fresh oven baked... More

Went here yesterday for a birthday celebration lobster roll and holy claw, did the Mattakeese deliver! Each roll had at least a 2 pounder serving of fresh lobster! Lobster meat is unblemished, served with lemon and any other side dressing you prefer on the sde, pure, tender lobster! We considered several of the prospects right around the Hyannis harbor basin... Only had lunch there but outside deck is wonderful and their special clam pie was excellent. Apparently lobster is very good, but not inexpensive, like most restaurants.

Our large group of more than 40 people converged on Mattakeese Wharf for a lobster dinner. We were not disappointed! It was a delicious meal. They served a nice green salad with some amazing sour dough rolls first. Then came the nice sized lobster, drawn butter, mixed vegetables not overcooked and roasted potatoes. A nice brownie with ice cream for... More
