Great little pit stop before whale watching

Had a bite to eat here before whale watching. Ordered the lobster rolls with fries which was delicious. Cooked to perfection and a hearty size. Also had the clam chowder whcih was very tasty. Throughly recommended. Seating is best at the front.

This shack right at Barnstable Harbour was recommended to us by Kevin Nolan from Barnstable Pottery Art Gallery. What a good suggestion. We had two Lobsters at $18 each which were done to perfection. The seating outside is great and the locals were very chatty and friendly sharing information about the rest of the island and places to visit. I... More

If you like seafood stop by this place and enjoy :) Outdoor seating right by the beach/harbor. Delicious food and friendly staff.

We stopped here on our way off of the Cape from a weekend trip. The outdoor seating was ample, and the customer service was great. Though it was a very expensive lunch. The fresh local scallops were medium sized and delicious, and the lobster salad was ok (it was missing seasoning and flavor beyond the lobster itself). I had the... More

My family and I had the opportunity to eat here several times during our summer vacation on Cape Cod this summer. It was recommended to us when asking for a charming seafood shack in downtown Barnstable, MA. It met all our expectations in that it is a small "local" seafood joint with an outdoor seating patio, good wide selection of... More

4 major menu items unavailable. Staff informed me that they cut back on fresh seafood, when open for weekends only, at seasons end. Staff was friendly, but we will not repeat a visit to this restaurant.

The consensus is the fries are awesome- it's true. You must have them, if only a handful for you 'My Fitness Pal' users. The subtle, yet spicy, sauce on the Oyster Po' Boy was the perfect compliment to the oysters, served on a perfectly toasted bun. The lobster roll- there are those you believe it should be made with mayo... More

During the season (summer) this is the local favorite...right next to the marina and the whale watch pickup spot, and luckily for us, our friends' home. Loved the clam roll...NOT the belly version, but the old-fashioned stringy fried kind. The lobster roll was not the best I've ever had, and actually cost more than Luke's of Maine in NYC....too much... More

Fish and chips were hot and tasty as could be. My son ordered a hamburger and said it was the best ever. Personally, I just appreciate the location by the marina and just a few hundred feet from the sandy beach in combo with the food. It all wraps up to be some easy kind of fun! Go there!

We ate here for lunch twice during our visit to Cape Cod. It's a great location to eat before or after the whale watch (which we also highly recommend!). You order food from a window and eat at picnic tables under umbrellas or a covered area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was ready very quickly, and... More
