Great food, terrible service

The shrimp dumpling soup is wonderful, hot and flavorful. The dumplings are plump and full and great. But we had to go get the waitress twice, our water glasses were never refilled, she was almost arrogant in the way she behaved at our table. I ordered a half roast duck. For some reasons, I did not see the wing and the upper part of the leg. If you order a roasted duck or chicken, make sure you get everything you should get. I also ordered a pan fried garlic Chinese broccoli. The garlic was over cooked and caused the whole dish a bitter taste.... More

This restaurant is known for it's variety of soups. I ordered the wonton soup which came with 8 nice size dumplings filled with shrimp. You can also choose the combination wonton/noodle option but you will only get 4 wontons. The soup dish is very filling and makes a decent lunch for just about anybody.

Don't spoil your day out eating in this place, the waitress is rude and demanded tip more than they deserve at the end and when we complained to the owner he was so defiant. Foods are not good, many places like East Hollywood Cafe, and east pearl restaurant offer friendly services and foods.

We ordered roasted duck and pork Hong Kong style, brisket noodles, shrimp wontons, bean curd casserole and crispy and spicy squid. I would pass the brisket noodles, nothing to write home about. Everything else was delicious. Authentic food. Good value for money. Nice decor.

This is clearly a Chinese restaurant - not a Chinese American one! We had two dishes and a soup that were absolutely terrific. The soup was a shrimp dumpling soup with 8 excellent shrimp dumplings - probably the best I have ever had (really!). The follow on dishes were fried squid and a pork & snow pea combo. This place... After you pass by the pan handler in the run-down strip mall that features bizarre dining options (including a Spanish French bistro), you enter a somewhat tired looking restaurant that serves some amazing food. Despite outward appearances, these people in Full Key know what they are doing. You get the feeling that the cooks and staff have been there a... More

After moved to DC for over 3 years, I finally found one Cantonese restaurant that gives me a slice of Hong Kong. I found this place at Yelp. Thanks to Yelp really. It is very unassuming. Located in a small shopping mall and the outside was not glam... I went in and it was still busy on a Saturday afternoon... More

We've been going here for over 100 years to this Wheaton institution (exaggerating maybe a little :-) ) and we're always pleased of the quality of the food here. It's about time I wrote a review. Management is at the top of their game. Food here is consistently great and prices very reasonable. Our favorites: - Shrimp dumpling Kong Kong... More
