Stick to the BBQ

They have excellent BBQ, ribs, pulled pork, sliced pork, and smoked items too. Most of the sides are good, the beans are too sweet and green beans are overcooked/canned. Chili is good. When you venture beyond the BBQ things go down hill - onion rings, wings, cream of crab soup, salad, desserts... read more

I should have known better when I d I didn't smell any smoke. I'm from San Antonio TX. I ordered a pulled beef sandwich the meat was bland no spices at all it taste as if it had been boiled. The French fries were the best part of the meal. If you've never had real TX Bbq I recommend you... More

After sitting at a table for ten minutes without acknowledgement or an offer of a beverage, I stood at the bar for another five minutes to find out how one goes about placing an order at this establishment. The bartender didn't bother to acknowledge me either and seemed more interested in removing empty mugs from the bar countertop than taking... More

It had many different types of BBQ. So it was great to be able to chose. Specials were decently price and I had to try the meatloaf. Too sweet was the meat. The brown gravy didn't work on it either. The NC BBQ was decent. It needed more sauce. They had plenty of choices. I wanted the try the tequila... More

We have dined here for lunch and dinner too many times to count. The menu centers on ribs, BBQ, and sandwiches. They also have some unexpected entrees like grilled tuna and some very good pork chops. The soups are fantastic, especially the cream of crab and vegetable beef. It's a restaurant and bar so there are many beverage options, and... More

We recently purchased ribs from here and were pleasantly surprised! They smoke their ribs "dry" and YOU add sauces after purchasing. They are very large and meaty with the "back flap" meat in place. A single order (a slab) feed four of us! It comes with two sides (for carryout - 4 with eat-in) and texas toast. Alot of food... More

Love the pulled pork and chicken dinner. LOVE the pit baked potatoes. Wish they also had mashed potatoes. I was taking dinner to a friend and he only likes mashed potatoes. What can I say, he's a picky eater.
