Loved this place when it first opened. Food, service, atmosphere were all fantastic. Went on a Sunday afternoon recently and we ordered one their specials. The mac & cheese was just bad, the greens had no flavor and the pulled pork was the only thing I can say was good. Friend ordered the nachos appetizer and it seemed the cheese... More

Spending a lot of time in Memphis and knowing their BBQ. This wasn't that bad. Gumbalya was tasty. The place seemed empty though. It was a Monday night. Our server was great having to put up with a razzing by the Memphis crowd.

We frequently go to RH&B for a quality, quick meal. Their service is great and thier food is the best overall BBQ-type food in town! There catfish is always done perfectly and their meats are well prepared and served. A good value for the money, too!

This reasonably-priced restaurant does everything right. The tables are clean, servers are competent and friendly, atmosphere is enjoyable, food is delicious. We enjoy going to this local barbecue restaurant every couple of months. They have standard barbecue items, all well prepared -- especially the potato salad, which is addictive. The blues playing in the background is a nice touch, and... More

I was pleasantly surpised with everything I tried. Had the BBQ chicken, pork ribs and beef brisket. I was so full I couldnt even order dessert( which looked delish). Kids had chicken salads. generous portions. Cant wait to go back again.

Very good service, and the food is excellent. The ribs are done just right and the sides are out of this world.

The roots of Red Hot & Blue are in Memphis and it's obvious the minute you walk in. Of course, there are tributes to Elvis, although he doesn't have the same blues pedigree as the many other artists pictured on their walls, Robert Johnson, Billie Holiday, B.B. King, Louis Armstrong, W.C. Handy, and so on. I was tickled by the... More

I've had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich here several times. The pork was tender and fresh, and the assortment of their own four different sauces is a nice contrast. Their sides are all very good -- something which a lot of places don't manage to get right. I really liked the fresh cole slaw and the corn bread. My only... More

The food is good... and ever since "Famous Daves" opened it is never busy. I am not a big fan of their barbeque ribs... but their pulled chicken and beef entrees... fried shrimp and catfish entrees are delicious!
