Top Notch Dinner!

The multi-course dinner was Excellent, from beginning to end. The chef and table staff were at their best. Highly recommended. I have to admit that the meal was better than I was expecting, since I've stayed here before. We were not disappointed.

The Smokehouse is so charming. There is the older section plus an addition which retains the charm of the original part. Service is attentive and the food is nicely prepared. Breakfast choices are a bit limited but there is something for everyone. One of our favorite things to do after dinner is to have a drink (or coffee or tea)... More

I've read the reviews and felt this was a place we should try for our 16th Anniversary. We arrived a bit after 615pm and because the drive way is not well lighted it was hard to find the parking area. They have lighted lamp posts but could use more lighting at ground level. We were welcomed by Iris who would... More

Wonderful restaurant for a special occasion! You begin your evening by listening to a pianist in the drawing room while hors d'oeuvres are being passed and drinks served. Then, you move into the restaurant and begin your 6 course dining experience. The ambiance, service, and food is excellent! Personalized menus, pianist playing throughout the evening, extensive wine selection, and outstanding... More

This week-end marked the fifth time I had visited the Antrim. This time it was for a 90th birthday so everyone wanted the best, This venue did not disappoint in any category. Drinks were served in the very elegant parlors of the 1845 mansion. We then headed downstairs to a commodious dining space- 60 people were comfortably seated. A phenomenal... More

My fiancee and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Smokehouse while staying at the Antrim. Though I'm a big eater, I can still appreciate small plate fare when done right; and here it is done right. I would have given it five stars, and almost gave it three for this one rather glaring let down. The wine pairing. We... More

Be prepared to be pampered with a multi course dinner in an intimate setting. The food is artfully presented and delicious. There is no rush to get through the meal quicky, rather lots of time for savoring the chef's creations. It's a great place for a special occasion, so be sure to mention that when you make your reservation.

We had the country breakfast that is complementary with the room. It was scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, fried potatoes, and a basket of breads. Coffee and juice were included. Everything was hot, served quickly and well prepared.

Friends Barry and Connie could not wait to take us to Antrim 1844 while visiting with them from Denver. What an outstanding restaurant!! Our friends gave us a guided tour of the grounds, beautiful flowers and bushes, it gives you the feel for an old southern plantation before you enter. Staff escorts you into a large room, full of antiques... More
