Excellent lunch. Both the Maryland crab soup and the wild mushroom soup were a good beginning on a chilly and damp day. The Reuben sandwich was large with a lot of corned beef. I took half of it home and ate it the next day! My husband had the special omelet with spinach and said it was very good too.... More

When you come into Bladwin station, the atmosphere and decor really strike you. The place looks really cool. We were sitted outside next to the rail by the railroad tracks where you can see the Potomac river. As I said said, it was very nice. I assume that because of all this ambiance this is what you are paying for.... More

We saw three trains pass through as we dined on their patio. The trains can be a little loud, but not as bad as I expected. Other than the passing trains, this is a quiet location along a tributary to the Patapsco River. The trains add to the atmosphere of this being an old train station, love that about eating... More

Very good meal in a refurbished train station. Do not sit outside if 120+ car freight trains bother you. The fish dishes were excellent as were the appetizers. Decent wine selection and nice mixed drinks from the bar.

This is a pretty decent place with a nice environment and typically good service. However, it still has a way to go in order to achieve the status it strives for and the way it represents itself. We actually had a better experience last year and hope that its inconsistency does not mean it is going downhill. During our recent... More

I had a lunch meeting at Baldwin's Station, which I had never heard of, being from the Virginia side of the "tracks". I had no expectations and assumed it was just another place for a boring lunch. Well, what a GREAT surprise! I walked in and instantly said to myself "This looks like a really cool place!" and then we... More

This restaurant serves a reasonably priced lunch. We had the chicken salad which was very good. Service was ok . Dinner is rather pricey. Located in the old part of town (somewhat picturesque), you can take a short stroll after or before your meal. Located at the railraod tracks, sometimes trains go right by.

Lovingly restored old RR station alongside the south branch of the Patapsco River and CSX Railroad tracks - what more could u ask for? The service is attentive and the food was good, though all we had were a club sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. Best part: we arrived 5 minutes after lunch closed at 3pm on a lazy... More

Food is very good, service is good. Nice atmosphere. Doesn't have a bar, well it does but when we were there it didn't seem as though you could sit at the bar.

This is a place I wanted to like. If there were a "slightly above average" rating, i would give it. Located next to train tracks and near a river, Baldwin's Station usually attracts many locals. The artificial flowers on the table are a clue that here is a restaurant living on its reputation. We were there for lunch, and when... More
