My "go to", if I'm looking for a classy, lovely evening. The building has much character, service impeccable and the meal is top notch.

My husband and I were happy that they finally wised up and now offer small plates on the barside, where we prefer to be. I suppose they want to attract a younger demo. Don't care for the dining room...too stuffy, dull and $$.

Last Valentines Day, we ate at this restaurant and i was very disappointed in my dinner, which was filet mignon. Very tough and the waitress did nothing to make it better. They should have given me a new dinner or removed it from the bill. Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth about this pricey restaurant.... More

My wife and I save the Milton Inn for special occasions. In part that is a function of price, but also it is a special place. The ambiance of 200 year old plus home, beautifully but comfortable interior and welcoming staff all contribute to that feeling but it is the food that stands out. I had the braised short ribs... Gave the restaurant a try because we received some coupon. This is not an inexpensive place, and the tab for two can easily run into a couple hundred dollars. Some entres are 40-50 and above, for instance. So a lot depends on what you order. But for that price range, the food did not match expectations. The best dish we... More

My husband and I went here for our Anniversary, Friday February 6, 2015 with a 7:30 reservation. This was our second time dining at this restaurant with the first time being about 10 years ago. Using a scale of 1-5 the first time was a 5 while this last time would be a 2. Our experience began with the hostess... More

My husband and I went to the Milton Inn this past weekend for our anniversary. I made the reservations through Open Table and stated that it was our 45th wedding anniversary and that we would like to be seated by the fireplace. We arrived early and they escorted us to the bar. Before we could get our drink our table... More

We dine here frequently and our Sunday brunch was no exception with their consistenly good food and service. The restaurant has extended their restaurant week menu through the end of the month so that was a bonus. The selection is wide and the food nicely prepared and presented.

Made a reservation to try the new small plates lounge menu. Come here a couple times a year over the last 15 years. Seated pretty quick in the bar area. Took over 20 minutes just to get the waiter to take a drink order for us. A glass of wine can make slow service a lot less slow. Service consisted... More
