A cut above the usual Solomon's dining

First time we've had the opportunity to eat at Dry Dock and we were pleased both with the ambiance, the quality of food and the service. Entrees like the crispy duck breast and the seared tuna were as good as any we'd have at home in Annapolis

Unusually nice atmosphere for a restaurant at a marina. They were booked up when we arrived and so we sat at the bar and had drinks and some appetizers. Interesting conversations all around, great bartender and the mussels were fabulous -- complete with some toasted sourdough for dipping. Yum.

Lovely restaurant, terrible food. The baked crab dip tasted like sour garbage, and the shrimp appetizer was smothered in some too sweet sauce. The accompanying "horseradish sauce" tasted like straight up mayonnaise; I didn't detect a hint of horseradish. I got a shrimp-artichoke fettuccine main course; some conglomerate of bacon bits from a jar, maybe 3 puny artichoke hearts, hearty... More

We were there for a mid week excursion. The dinner was very good and the atmosphere excellent. We were a little disappointed with the lack of local seafood options. The restaurant is located just off the Chesapeake Bay and is waterfront. Yet, there were no local fish choices. That said, the food was very good. I ended up getting the... More

This establishment has good food and a nice view. The service is attentive and pleasant. The prices are high but the quality is there. I have had a variety of dishes there and they are all good an consistent.

Excellent. Every one of us were pleased with our meals, the waitstaff, the timeliness. They were on the top of their game. Crab Benedict was outstanding. Presentation of every meal was outstanding. It is on the second floor without an elevator.

Had a great Sunday brunch at the Dry Dock on Labor Day weekend. It was a beautiful day with low humidity so we were able to enjoy our meal out on the shady outdoor deck. I had a great Lobster and Corn quiche special with a salad...my husband enjoyed the scrambled eggs with lump crab meat. We enjoyed that there... More

Tucked away on C Street in Solomon's Island MD, the Dry Dock is a great place, on the water, for two or three couples, or just a cozy dinner with your special friend. The food is excellent, but be prepared to spend the $$$. Service is very good. Drinks are the best and they specialize in different coffee drinks.

The four of us went to Dry a Dock on a Saturday night. The inside decor is very "yachty" and the deck was also nice. The restaurant was busy but the food and service was timely. I had the broiled oysters appetizer and they were a little bland. Certainly not New Orleans charbroiled oysters with garlic butter and Romano. The... More
