Under new ownership, now Anglers and the food is quite good. All the bad things about the old Captains Table are gone

New place is called Anglers and we did not enjoy the experience. I will miss the Captian's Bloody Marys.

We like to eat breakfast here. The breakfast buffet is good, the service is fair, the prices are reasonable. It's an old-school type restaurant, kinda beat up, but right on the water with wonderful views of the marina. Note: We recently saw a sign that said it was closed, but we aren't sure if they are closed for good or... More

This is a hidden gem. If you enjoy local eateries, a water view (marina), and a good crab cake the Captain's Table is for you! Their menu has many choices and the sweet potato was excellent as a side and the oysters in the oyster stew were huge.

We pulled in to Spring Cove Marina late and didn't want to walk to town. We were really surprised by the amount of choices offered and the friendly service! The prices were reasonable too! I had the crab legs and my husband had crab imperial. Both were great! We enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast which was... More

This place isnt a palace.. not that thats a problem when the food is good. Yeah its beat and run down, will never look trendy, but the food is good solid fare. And the BEST hush puppies ever! The service was good both times we ate there, and the view across the harbour very enjoyable. Will go back again.

Had lunch with a friend--I was visiting from out of town so he picked the place. The waterfront location was great, and we had a good view of the marina--too bad it was overcast and rainy. We both had the crab cake--it was excellent, hardly any filler and cooked just right. The service was another matter: although our server took... More

Delightful to find a gluten-sensitivity awareness with a dressed-up down-home breakfast menu and buffet. Wonderful service, felt like I was treated like family.

While spending a day at the Calvert Marine Center, I wandered the 1/10th of mile down the road to The Captain's Table for lunch. Although it was an 87 F day with high humidity, I elected to eat outside at a table on the covered deck facing the marina. There was a light breeze. I ordered the Captain's Crab Cake... More

The Captain's table may not be the fanciest restraunt, but the food and view of the marina make up for that. The locals love this place, and it was recommended by several, including a guide at the nearby Calvert County Marine museum, who told us he eats there almost daily. The service may be slower and not as up to... More
