This one of the best places in the greater area, no doubt about it. The place has 11 tables. We got in right away. And there is a small pub/bar next door to accommodate overflow while you wait. Once inside the atmosphere is a bit noisy, but expected, and yet comfortable. The food options are tremendous, a bit pricey, yet... More

An intimate little restaurant tucked away on Solomons Island. Great food on an ever-changing menu keeps us coming back. Drinks in the quaint bar next door make even waiting for a table fun. We've never had a bad experience at CD Cafe!

Two tennis players, an excellent cook and a diabetic went to lunch. What are the chances that all would love the place? All did. The chef even came out of the kitchen to make menu changes assisting the diabetic. The CD opened at 11:30 and we were the third table to arrive. In short order all tables were full but... More

My husband came for dinner arriving at 5:15 and the girl at the bar was very rude and said they don't open until 5:30 and we could go wait in the lounge next door. We went to the lounge and it was empty, couldn't find anyone to wait on us so we left and dinned elsewhere. I gave it another... More

When in Solomon's, it's our habit to go the the Dry Dock at Zahniser's Marina. But it was a pre-season Sunday night, and the Dry Dock was closed. Instead, we walked over to CD Cafe and were pleasantly surprised that this little spot inside a small office building could deliver such good food and service. The food is high-end and... More

My wife and I had a sugar craving, and stopped by CD Cafe for some of their famous dessert fare. I will warn you that it is not cheap, but the espresso chocolate chip cheesecake I had was quite simply exquisite! The blueberry pie ala mode that my wife had was incredible as well, but that cheesecake made me feel... More

we went for lunch and came back for dinner-great food each time-really topnotch service, as they were dealing with a holiday crowd- the seafood was fresh, innovative and delicious- the expresso cheesecake unbelievable--the ice tea freshly brewed, the salads fresh and full of flavor- the advised wine was superb-the bread delish with fresh butter--all the details were paid attention to=... We are new to the area and still working our way through the dining establishments in the Southern Maryland area. Due to a last minute change of plans, a very good friend called to say he was passing through and wanted to meet for dinner. He is a "foodie" like us which put the pressure on me to find a... More

The food wasn't inexpensive, but the food was delicious and they served us late (9:10 when they close at 9:30) even though we were the only ones there and they didn't rush us, which we appreciated. I had the scallops with peanut coconut sauce - to die for!

We have been there several times since we live in the area but still feel that the place is good but not fantastic. We don't mind paying for good food but They really should reconsider the prices. The service is very very slow so if you come here you better come with time and patience. I ordered medium well steak... More
