I know a lot of the reviews stated that they didn't have any problems with the service. We must have hit them on a bad night. We got there around 8:00 on a Thursday evening. I didn't think they were very busy but on our way out, I did see a large party. We ordered two appetizers first-hush puppies and... More

If you go here, ask for a table on the top level for the best view. The atmosphere is nice and our service was very good. I had the crab cake sandwich and it was fantastic! I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is very nicely decorated with a beach theme & sits on a pier over the Patuxent River. The hostess and waitress were nice, the food arrived quickly and was very good. I had the Southern Maryland Grilled Cheese - ham, melted cheddar, & a crab cake on grill sourdough. Very good. The only negative, and it was minor,... More

Solomons Landing 'Tis curious to have a drink At a bar that's wholly clad with zinc And even more to have a dinner With Cincoteagues as a beginner. To sniff a whiff of brackish ocean Water like a precious potion And every oyster that I eat Becomes a very tasty treat. After a dozen I want more Another dozen as... More

If the weather is nice, definitely sit out on the deck for the sunset. It is a great setting. Service was great and quick, and the food was good. Server was friendly and attentive, despite what other reviews said. We enjoyed seafood - crab balls, mussels and crab chowder - and salad was good too! We would definitely go back.

Waitress did her best, management needs to be on site, not making the bartender the manager! If the management cared they would better support the staff.

We ate here with our kids looking for a restaurant other than the usual chains. Loved it! Good food, good service, great atmosphere, and outdoor seating! We will be back!

The view is the reason that I gave this restaurant a very good rating. The food was OK. The service was OK. Now, this was 4th of July weekend and it was busy but still, the staff could have tried a little harder. We were waiting for the fireworks and wanted some seafood so we went there. Other people on... My wife and I visit your beautiful restaurant at Solomon's island we had great expectations since we travel 2 hours and 45 mins. Assuming that such a great location and atmosphere would offer the best seafood, after all that's the reason we went to Maryland from Leesburg Va., we had to get over an unfriendly hostess and wait 15 minutes... Ate here midday on 7/10/14 as part of a group. Service was slow, menu had few "standout" items, "upstairs room too loud" Reservations made at 1 PM, - exactly when two other groups were scheduled...no idea why each party was not staggered by 15 - 20 minutes. Cajun crab soup - GREAT - moderate spicy as described, other crab soup... More
