Nice atmosphere, very good food.

We had a very nice dinner. The salads were great and the deep fried goat cheese balls were an interesting and tasty addition. The crab stuffed mushrooms were ok, 12.00 for 3 mushrooms. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection. We arrived around 5 p.m. and there were plenty of seats, but by... read more

Close to home yet not close enough. Perfect place to spend sometime outdoors and check out the area. Love this pier and it's attractions. Beautiful all the time but best at dusk. Love the atmosphere and friendly people.

This must be "Solomons Island good" versus objectively good because we were very much let down. Overcooked snow crab legs, cold french fries, awful coleslaw, embarrassingly small fried oysters and on and on. We are foodies and no idea why this place is ranked so well. Maybe we are just used to metro DC standards.

The sister restaurant to Solomons Pier, just as good too! The crab cakes are simply amazing! A nice dining atmosphere, with creek side dining.

My family, friends and I love this place. The rockfish bites, tuna bites and crab cakes are the best on the island and the county. The grapefruit crushes and orange crushes are a also a hit. You can't beat the water and bridge views, especially at sunset. Worth every penny!

Just had a quick coffee although a large seafood menu looked good. This is a large restaurant so if you want to be on the veranda then better get there early or book Efficient service and willing for us to have a coffee early and midweek Lovely view worth checking out

Great location on the Patuxent River. There is both inside and outside dining, we ate outside. The service was pretty good, young but motivated and hustling. I had the fried shrimp and they were fine. My wife had crab legs; they were good, although a few of them had sticky meat inside the shells. The drinks were good, although a... More

Returned to Stoney's after being away for a few years and the food was a good as ever. Despite it being July we got a table easily though we did wait a few minutes at the door with staff passing us and no one asking if we were being seen to; however when seated we were well looked after by... My husband and I ate here for the second time, and overall the food was not as delicious as I had remembered. We ate outside on the deck right next to the water--which is beautiful and serene, a must if it is cool enough in the day. We split an appetizer of crab dip and were delightfully impressed with the... More

So I don't generally like wine served in plastic cups, but for this place I'll make an exception. Jutting out into the Patuxent River in charming Solomon's Island Maryland, this place serves up good food with an emphasis on seafood. I chose the smaller crab cake sandwich. A large ball of crab and nothing but crab arrived sitting atop a... More
