A group of three went for dinner, all of us ordered the Cowboy-cut (bone-in Ribeye) and none of us could finish it. The temperature was perfect as we all ordered it different (from rare to medium). The sides are all good, we had the mushrooms, creamed spinach. and broccoli. Will definitely go back.

If you like aged, prime meat and excellent seafood, you'll love this restaurant. Even better, unlike the typical steakhouses, each entrée comes with sides included. No more charges for veggies, or potatoes. A real bargain and supper dining!

One of the best steak houses around for value, quality of food and service, and ambiance. They have both a bar setting and a dining room and both are great. Wine list is extensive, cocktails are great.

This place is now called The Classics, formerly Ray's The Classics. It is owned by two former employees and they have not lost a step. The steaks are some of the best in the area. Far better than Stanleys, Ruth's Chris or the stuffy Morton's. If you want a simple burger in the bar area, they are the best in... More

This place for me is a my go to local steak place. If you like eggs like I do, the deviled eggs with steak tartare is a great start. Rich and creamy with the sweetness of the cornichon is a preview of the richness to come. For sides the creamed spinach is a treat and the mac-n-cheese has a nice... More

It was my wife's birthday and the family and I took her to this lovely restaurant. Internal arrangement of furniture is very nice. Service is good too. Rest of the family except for my mother in law (she had giant shrimps) had devilled eggs and steaks and I must say those steaks were pretty generous of them. I'm saying they... More

For more than a year, I walked past Ray's The Classics and never went in - it looked a bit stuffy, with its old-style sign and white tablecloths, and seemed the type of place you go for an occasion, not for everyday. Not long ago, my companion and I were celebrating and wanted a steak, and decided to try to... More

Had dinner with business associates at their recommendation. This is an oddly decorated restaurant. Felt I was back in the 80's. Food was good not great. Had the NY Strip and is was cooked well. The broccoli was tree sized and not well cooked. Decent wine selection. Again, a good place just not great. The Chocolate pieces at the end... More

The quality of the steaks is quite good --at a considerably lower price than standard steakhouses. The experience is perhaps not the same: we often had to wait for our glasses of wine to be refilled, and the waiter had to be reminded about some requests. But our medium-rare steaks (the house special, a NY strip with a cracked peppercorn... More

I was last here a number of years ago when this place was new and fresh. My latest dinner was with a party of 4 that spent about $200 on 3 hunks of steak, one salad, one desert, one shrimp entree and three sides - but no alcohol. All in all a pretty good sum for an undistinguished experience. The... More
