I am from Texas so am quite picky about my Mexican food. This place is pretty darn good. I like the enchiladas and the beans. I think they are a bit pricey, but I think everything in the Northeast is expensive, ha! Also the veggie quesadillas are tasty.

We dined here a couple years ago and enjoyed the cuisine. When we decided to return last week, things were different -- and not in a good way. The margaritas were good and the chips and salsa, while not out of this world, were tasty. The items we ordered, burritos and enchiladas were simply bland and uninspired -- not what... More

The food was pretty bad--smothered in cheese and the beans tasted very old. Hardly any flavor other than excessive saltiness. The worst part was finding a dead fly in my water and then telling the manager who said it was just a mosquito, nothing to worry about. They did not take anything off of our bill and guess how much... More

Simply put, the food was great, the service was great, and the Mi Rancho Margarita was outstanding. We were passing through Silver Spring and needed a place to stop for a late lunch. I'm very happy we ran across this little gem. We sat in the covered outdoor area, and it was charming. I had the veggie enchiladas and they... More

grab a pitcher of house made margaritas on the rock , some warm fresh flour tortillas and salsa. Whe the wait staff arrives ask if the have grilled fish- if so grab it. The fajita are good -I prefer the smoky sweet beef skirt steak over the chicken. I have also had the grilled lamb chops several times. Dessert menu... More

Their food is good...but their margaritas...amazing! You can get them by the pitcher and half pitcher. So yummy!

This place has amazing Mexican food served right. I always get their chili relleno, different batches have different spiciness but it's amazing. Great atmosphere, perfect place to kick back margaritas or a cold beer for happy hour with amazing chips on a hot day. Staff is very friendly and if you speak Spanish to them, no matter how remedial they... More

Mi Rancho has all the makings of a terrific restaurant. The outdoor area is lovely, the atmosphere outside is wonderful, and it can accommodate small and large groups. The only problem: don't visit if you have ANY special needs or requests. Let me explain. I'm not a picky person by nature. And during college and immediately after college, I was... More

This place packs up quickly on the weekends. Family friendly atmosphere with reasonable prices. The food is average to a bit above for standard Mexican fare. Not necessarily a place to go to have a quite conversation, a lot of families and kids galore.

I went there with a group of people. The menu has typical entrees for a Mexican restaurant. A couple folks ordered the nachos, one a cheese quesodilla, and others ordered combination platters. Most dishes focused on cheesiness and garnishes (fresh sour cream, lettuce, tomato). My 'Alfredo's Platter' had a passable Chili Relleno, although a bit too cheesy. Tamale was too... More
