Have been a fan for a couple of years. I guess every restaurant has a bad night once in awhile. First entree on the menu usually means this is featured. Branzino with Fall veggies. $30.00. Sounded wonderful. Entirely too salty. Microscopic vegetables . What Fall veggies. Few corn kernels; microscopic zucchini. Few sprouts. Too expensive for such a disappointment. Desserts... More

This is one of the most outstanding restaurants anywhere in the Washington-Maryland vicinity. It's a bit hard to locate, and necessary to navigate parking, but once found it's a treasure. The food is all excellent, the atmosphere is appealing, and the wait staff is professional. It's pricey but worth it for a special evening. It is a perfect spot for... More

We had a wonderful experience here again! Our waiter, Rich, made everything so much fun and enjoyable for our New Year's celebration dinner.

Annual holiday lunch with colleagues. Ambiance is very nice. Wait staff is really attentive and pleasant. Wait staff and raspberry cheesecake were highlights of lunch. Nice menu, but taste didn't live up to expectations.

Undeniably the best restaurant in Silver Spring - fantastic bar scene (which is popular and obviously can be crowded, but is way more laid back then a place in downtown DC). The menu isn't extensive, but absolutely amazing. The prices are expensive, but again, relative to the city, reasonable.

I great place for a good --not too fancy, not too casual meal or drinks with friends or for a date. In fact a good first date place because it is good and creative food, expensive enough so that you don't seem cheap, but not over the top. I have been here many times.

We were here on a weeknight, so it wasn't too busy, and although they were out of the salmon I was hoping to have, everything we had was well-prepared, including the branzino and the chicken. They use mostly local ingredients, and everything is good. The bread pudding dessert (made with local bread :-) ) was to die for.

A bit noisy, but a good mix of options, including vegetarian. Pricey compared to my standard, but I am extremely cheap :) .

My husband and I use the Washingtonian Magazine's Top 100 Best Restaurant guide quite a bit when searching for great restaurants. We are so happy we took their advice and checked out 8407 Kitchen Bar. It has a fun, hip atmosphere that's walking distance to the metro and the Discovery Channel. It's also very close to the Silver Spring shops... More

Again, a lovely meal at 8407 Kitchen Bar. This time we sat at the bar downstairs, my daughter and I. It's the kind of bar where two women can sit and have a meal/drink without any of the usual pick up carry-on! I had jet lag, just returned from a trip to the UK. So I was not really hungry,... More
