Let's just be honest, you're not going to a pirate theme'd restaurant/bar to eat gourmet food, you're going for the atmosphere and to have a good time. This is a super fun place to go, the food is decent, the servers are awesome, the clientel is a mix. If you go on a Thurs-Sat night usually the place is packed... More

Don't waste your money or time. This place is a joke! Nasty, horrible food, terrible service and laughable atmosphere!

What are the owners thinking? What was I thinking in going in there. You feel dirty the moment you walk in which was when I should have walked out. You cannot tell the staff from the customers. Service is more than horrible. The food and drinks when we finally got them was subpar. Infact, the whole place is a little... More

Traveling - and foolishly stopped in just to see how the placed really looked. Decor is ridiculously done in a cheap looking 'Pirate Theme' so far removed from a 'quality presentation'. Prices are ridiculous and quality sub-par at best. My so-called "hamburger" was cool in the center, near black on the outside (both of them) and without garnishments would have... More

Pirate theme is correctly although cheaply pulled off. That's about the best I can say. Drinks were terrible and food was fair although top priced. Burger I had deserves no comments whether good or bad, it was simply a burger. If you're thinking about checking it out, just ask yourself, "Why?" when there are so many far superior places nearby.

Thought it might be fun, but it's just a dump. Seems like a side job or hobby for someone who knows nothing about business. I'll never go back. They should be ashamed!

Bad experience to say the least--the OWNER was beyond rude even going so far as to yell at people...horrible customer service (and that's saying something because I'm a server so I'm usually Very lenient with customer service because I understand things happen) but this place...wow...will never go back again!

Glad to see these guys took some of the messaging from Bar Rescue to heart. But even happier that they kept it pirate themed. The reduced menu means the food you get there is actually good. The staff is a hoot. Come and enjoy with friends. Or visiting relatives.

I wish I could give this place a negative rating, because just saying it's terrible is sugar coating it. Food was absolutely horrible, employees were rude to us, worst drinks I've ever had & they suck at being pirates. I've been to Pirate themed bars/restaurants before & the Piratz Tavern is a disgrace to pirates, bars & restaurants. It would... More

After waiting 10+ minutes to be seated, it took over 30 minutes to get our drink order. The drinks were watery and the food was nasty! The rude waiter was more interested in chatting with his friends than paying attention to his customers. Don't go here - if is a waste of time.
