I ate take-out from this restaurant while visiting friends in the area recently. Since I'm vegan, I didn't sample everything that was served (e.g., lamb meatballs, feta-drenched Greek salad) but everything that I did sample was delish! Great orzo and hummus, fabulous beets, and the best pita I've ever eaten...he adds olive oil to it, making it moist and tender.... More

Literally. The best pita bread we've ever had. Warm and soft and fresh! The dips were also great. The falafel was delicious and my husband loved his gyro comparing it to what he had in Athens. The spanakopita was hefty and yummy. They even had a baklava cheesecake, which was out of this world. My work is moving close to... More

Super friendly staff and very tasty Greek food in Silver Spring. Went to a much more expensive Greek place in DuPont, where the food was subpar and way overpriced. I'll stay here in Silver Spring for better and cheaper Greek! Gyro is a ton of food and always delicious!

We stopped at a Greek restaurant for a snack today. It was staffed entirely by Salvadorans. We sat next to a family of Ghanaians in going to church clothes. There were also a few tables of Anglos and African Americans. I like living in DC.

This is our favorite Greek restaurant in the Silver Spring area. Nothing fancy. Simply, delicious Gyro, Musaka, Greek salad and many other choices. Authentic, tasty, and very reasonably priced. Great service! What's not to like,

We were visiting my daughter and she suggested we try the Big Greek Cafe. It was so GOOD!! My husband had the roasted Greek chicken and it had the best flavor and so juicy. My daughter and I had the Greek Gyro Platter with the Greek french fries. Loved the Feta cheese and herbs on the fries. Wish I had... More

We went here for dinner not once, but TWICE during our recent 4-day trip to Silver Spring. My husband and I love Greek food, and the food and portions here were excellent. After our first dinner, we went somewhere else the next night and really wanted more of their food for the last night of our stay. Try their Spanakopita... More

I thought their chicken was dry and not no enough seasoning. Save your money and go to the other Greek Place closer to downtown Silver Spring.

My family of five people started craving their food. Gyro was the second best, after Dafni restaurant in NY, I have ever had, and the price was very affordable. Their fries are very good as well. Friendly staff. Fast service. Casual and comfortable environment. I would eat there every day if I could.

We went there for lunch this afternoon and were very happy about it. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was sweet and nice. Price was excellent. Portions were too big, or it felt like because I wanted to finish every piece of it. I will be going there often now on.
