My husband and I stopped here on our walk from the Metro in Silver Springs to our hotel. It's a small Italian place that is very unassuming. Dinners were quite reasonable and came with salad. I had the linguine with meatballs for $14 and my husband had the chicken with Linguine and mushrooms in a wine sauce for $16. Both... More

Downtown Italian place is family run with home made fare. The chef/owner is usually on premises. The restaurant is converted from very casual to table cloth service between lunch and dinner. Service is friendly and salad and bread is included with dinners. Some evenings are specialty nights such as pizza night ( not a usual menu item and regular menu... More

First the good news - the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. We shared fried calamari, chicken cutlet with pasta, and the house Chianti; all were very good. The main courses were served with an uninspired but good house salad. The service was very attentive and polite. Now the bad news - we arrived at 5:45 p.m.... More

Loved the thin crust pizza and $10 off bottles of wine is a definite plus, even though I only ordered a glass. Service was EXCELLENT! Very peaceful and cozy at 9pm ok a Tuesday, and located in a great area to walk around. We like pizza, and this hit the spot!!

It is difficult to believe that it is not easy to find decent traditional italian food these days. Either you find upscale places that are "cutsy" or down scale locales that make tomato sauce out of cheap ingredients like tomato paste - acidic and poor. De Marco is definitely not upscale, a reasonably priced traditional place with a good marinara... More

This restaurant has a fairly good selection of homemade pastas a somewhat below average wine list, and advertises a grappa bar, but does not have many. However, the experience was still very good, mainly because of the ambience. The owner is delightful.

We went to visit family in December and found this wonderful little restaurant which was within walking distance from our hotel. What a little gem. We had the house special, a pasta dish with spaghetti with a red cream sauce, peas, and little morsels of ham and I believe walnuts. It was fantastic. It came with a side salad. My... More

Operated by a husband and wife. It is is a close to homemade as you'll find in Silver Spring. The wife is in the kitchen and husband supervises the front. Very reasonable and friendly.

Food is great. Caprese salad and calamari the perfect start. I had linguini with clams, very good. My family raved about the pumpkin ravioli, scallops and carbonara. Tiramisu and cannoli were excellent as well. Suggestion to owner, add white table cloths and place would be just perfect. We will return.
