Great pub

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I went there for brunch. My daughter and I had the beet cured salmon eggs benedict. Outstanding!! My husband had the full Irish breakfast and said it was very good. Son-in-law had a burger that was done just the way he wanted. Haven't had a Bloody Mary that... read more

We have been to McGinty's several times in the last few months. One of those times was for dinner. We had some of the "Irish" dinners: bangers and mash, Irish casserole sampler, Potato and Leek soup. All were delicious. And the Harp's was cold and refreshing. The last time we were there was for Easter Brunch. First of all, they... More

I was in DC with my son who is a fussy eater. He was hungry so I took him to McGinty's. We sat outside and he had a burger and fries. It was very pleasant. It is on a street that is blocked from traffic and there was live music down the street in a park (even on a Tuesday... More

Had dinner at McGinty's upon arrival at Silver Springs, Food was OK at Best. Had to deal with a drunk, though friendly patron. Clearly had more than he should have. They are opening a dining space upstairs - have had better experinec in other Irish bars.

large corporate feeling multilevel generic pub, average food decent drink options. Not much else to ad, go there with an expense account and have a few.

We chose McGinty's after a day in DC and seeking a sit-down experience close to the hotel that wasn't a fast-food chain. The menu is expansive and we played it safe with fish & chips and a crabcake sandwich with some buffalo wings as an appetizer. Everything was just fine - from prompt service to the food itself - if... More

Over the years McGinty's has been the go-to pub for me. It has an upstairs and downstairs. The down is more your typical Irish pub. Upstairs they have a large bar area for trivia, live music and has more of a bar feel to it. They have a fine dining room up there also. They have plenty of TVs dotted... More

My wife and I were here with a friend while our daughters were auditioning for a summer program at a nearby ballet school. I found this place on Google Maps and thought it would be good to try because it was not a chain restaurant. We were here on a chilly Friday night. Fortunately we had no problem getting table...
