This place had good reviews so we decided to check it out. I ordered the Shepherds Pie, and it was honestly the best Shepherds Pie I have ever had.

My son had heard of this Irish pub-restaurant, one of a small chain, so we went, expecting not much and hoping for a great surprise. The restaurant is housed in a relatively contemporary building but the inside looks as if it was designed in the 70's. Not spectacularly comfortable seating and the air-conditioning - a must in MD - is... More

OK, this restaurant doesn't pretend to any more than it is: An expanded Irish pub with a more expansive menu. The menu is pub fare with aplomb! Many of the items are basic American fare with Irish flair. For example the Dublin Dip is what you see everywhere else as French Dip. Miss Peggy's crab cakes are pretty much Maryland... More

What more could you ask for. How about specialty hamburgers for 5,6 or 7 dollars? At an Irish Pub. A lot of selections of where to sit, but the raised booths at the front seem the most comfortable. All together, a pleasant experience.

Options on this place - sit outside out front, sit at the bar, sit at a table inside, and sit outside out back -- we are sure the choice will dictate your experience! We enjoy sitting out front in the late afternoon sun in the summer and picking a dining room table in winter months. The bar staff however, seem... More

Thanks to manager Ken for getting us a great table for Mothers Day! This was my 1st time here and Ken was very helpful by working with me on finding a table for 10 on short notice. The buffet was very plentiful and varied and was delish. Almost all of us had an omelet, too. The order process was easy... More

Brian Boru’s potato and leek soup is worth the visit alone. Throw in the corned beef poppers and the Galway Bay Irish egg nog (available during the Christmas holiday season) and you've had a celebration of Irish fare. The management is great as well. Owner Michael Galway and manager Dino Pinelli both really care for their patrons and their community.... More

We've attended a club brunch at Brian Boru for the last three years and the food has been consistently good and reasonably priced. The meal selections are plentiful. Bill B.

Although the price has increased, this is still one of the best early week dining experiences in the area. Basically you get a gourmet burger for either $6 or $7 and they don't seem to mind substituting on your dinner plate a salad in place of the plank (Irish) fries. They are cooked to order even if you ask for... More

Typically, Irish Pubs style restaurants are played out like green beer on St. Paddy's day. BUT, this might be the exception. My prejudice was further heightened as location is in the soccer mom crazy world of Severna Park you are more apt to have a cultural argument about whether Dukes or Hellmans is better mayonaise (Dukes BTW). HOWEVER, BB was... More
