Excellent

Excellent service, food and drink. Irish fair with moderate pricing. The meat loaf is to die for along with their Rueben. The staff is overly friendly and when you leave you will be very happy you did stop there.

The shepherd's pie is good, except it's not made authentically with lamb. It's instead made with beef. I just assumed that they did not have lamb, but there are other items on the menu that are made with lamb, so that's not the case. I've had better at other restaurants, though this one is good. The salmon was fantastic, though... More

We love this Brian Boru location! The food is absolutely superb, and the service is always phenomenal. Staff is very friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed. They have live music on the weekends (and sometimes on weekdays) and your favorite Irish beers on tap. Highly recommend the Whiskey Tomato and the Potato Leek soups. We like to... More

Our meeting of 12 travel professionals met at Brian Boru for our monthly gathering. The happy hour drinks in the bar were very good, and the appetizers, especially the sliders were tasty. Service was very attentive and very friendly. The dinner order was off a special menu and 3 out of the 4 items got great reviews from our members.... More

So sad that they have changed their menu. Goat cheese poppers were so incredible. If they bring them back, we'll definitely return. Always loved this restaurant and those were our entire family's favorite. We even hosted a party here once, and everyone couldn't get enough of the goat cheese poppers. Also disappointed because twice in a row they got us... More

We went there for a special event dinner...a lecture about the potato famine and a three course meal. Both were very good. They will do it two more times this spring. We have dined there before and the food and service are always very good.

Not into the food- not bad but not great. The service is okay. I have been there 8 times over the course of 5 years. There are regulars and locals who love it.

A family gathering of 20 (including 5 youngsters) recently had dinner at this restaurant. Our waiter Liam was the highlight of our meal. He dealt with a large group in a professional and friendly manner. People arrived at different times. But Liam had no problems dealing with drink, appetizer and food orders, even making sure the children all had what... More

I passed this restaurant many times thinking that it was just a bar. Fortunately I discovered that it is also a nice Irish pub-style restaurant. It apparently has a lively bar atmosphere, but as a family we did not experience that. Having visited Ireland I was anxious to experience the food. My husband greatly enjoyed his shepherd's pie, which we... More
