fairly decent

fairly decent food, over priced beer, mediocre bands, incident with cameras in bathroom, usually enough room for big party of people, cool old mill setting, less than stellar service

Stopped in on our way to an event for a quick bite, a beer and to unwind. The staff was friendly, food was good and the beer cold. Nothing exceptional but nothing to complain about either. I would definitely return if I found myself in the area again.

Each time my friend and I want to meet to go over life, we meet at the Ram's Head Tavern. The atmosphere is open and respectful to peoples conversions. What I mean? People talk within there space, not loud and disrespectful. Though my friend and I eat lite, we try different foods with each visit.

I don't like this place. The food is never good and the service is usually poor as well. The beer selection is good if your a drinker. Other than that don't bother going here. Plus let's not forget the creepy video camera in the bathroom incident.

Went with family for lunch. Since it was Christmas weekend, it was not very busy. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed. We all ordered something different, from hummus to a Reuben, and all thought that the food was good, but nothing memorable, especially the french fries. Prices on some items are also a little on... My coworkers and I went for lunch last week and were very disappointed. The crabcake did not have any lump crab and no seasoning, no flavor. The shrimp salad had no flavor. The burgers were dry and the rolls were stale. The cream of crab soup was greasy. One person enjoyed their fish tacos. While convenient, it will not be... More

This outpost of a well respected music venue and brew pub in Annapolis leaves one wishing it were better. The Old Savage Mill, where the Ramshead is located, has a charming collection of shops. The venue itself is attractive. And the beer selection, both on tap and in bottles is respectable. But there the good news ends. Service was at... More

I want SO badly to love this location! No idea how the other locations are, but I LOVE Savage Mill, and so to have dinner at this Ram's Head on numerous occasions, and every time without fail, the service is slow and downright terrible. Food is fine- but unless you want to have to flag down wait staff and be... More

I have had many a good meal at the Ram's Head Tavern. What I like about it: * It's has a menu that's just enough different that you can find something new, but not so strange that the nonadventurous in the party can find something they like * Accomodating - I've had everything from a working lunch with colleagues to... Located in an old Mill, the restaurant and rathskeller bar downstairs are both very charming. The beer selection is varied enough that everyone could get something they wanted. The food was very good, but perhaps trying too hard. All the burgers had to be unique and have 15 different ingredients on them. The novelty of Mac n cheese on a... More
