The restaurant has an interesting layout. The service was good. I had the Annapolis Benedict--crab cakes on an English muffin topped with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce with home fries and fruit. It was good. Others had the crab soup--also delicious and the french toast. No complaints from anyone.

On a recent business trip, my wife and I went to Rams Head in Savage, MD on the recommendation of a friend. We enjoyed ourselves and if we were in the area would go again. Set in an old brick mill complex with a bubbly, relaxing atmosphere, there is a certain charm to the place that sets one at ease.... More

I went here with a friend who is vegetarian and we were both very happy and surprised at how good the food was. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and just a cool vibe. The service was quick and the food was hot and well prepared. To bad this place is so far from where I live. I could see... More

On Sundays, there's a jazz band that plays starting at 11 am. We regularly come for brunch for special events & to hear the music. In the summer, the band sets up outside and it is incredibly pleasant to sit on the patio among the trees, looking out over the river. The food is good for brunch and pretty consistent.... More

My husband and I had gone to the Terrapin Adventures course and were wandering around the building when we came across this place. We walked by once and figured oh well if we come back through we will stop for lunch. We crossed another entrance on the second floor. The hostess asked if we wanted to sit inside or out.... More

Rams Head Savage Mill has a great jazz brunch on Sundays--not to be missed, particularly once the weather has warmed up and you can sit outside on the rear deck. In the trees, over the river, soft jazz from a live trio, good food...

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and was very pleased. Our hotel recommended it, and it was a good choice. First rate fish & chips, burgers, and appetizers, and the drafty beer was great. Wish I was a local, I'd certainly stop back, especially on nights with live music. The place has tremendous character, as befits its historic building... More

I've been to this location four times, and on each visit, it was between bad and terrible. Whether it was the food, service, or a combination of both, I swore I would never return. Well, a group dinner had me returning, and where I am not shy to post a bad review, I also have to give credit when it... More

We went on Mother's Day. Sure it was packed, but I wasn't prepared for a full hour and a half wait for our food. An hour and a half (and that's not rounding ... from Noon to 1:30)! Just astonishing. Meanwhile ... worst crab cakes ever. I wonder if they're frozen--they were that bad. Maybe the kitchen was just having... More
