This is a favorite waterside restaurant for us. Food is tasty, perfect service, and friendly staff. A delightful outdoor dining experience on the marina.

Used to go all the time as a tourist, don't go now as a local, but bring guests who visit. Place to bash crabs, watch boats come in, etc. Lots of fun. If you are a local, you catch your own crabs.

Locals told my family to avoid eating here. But we really like to support local restaurants and the views are incredbe. I don't see why when popular with tourists the food has to be low quality, inconsistent portions, high cost and terrible service. Don't bother and perhaps the owners will serve quality well cooked seafood to equal the prices they... More

We stopped in for a small bite to eat. Great views and great service! My husband and father had a bucket of clams served with a side of clam juice. They said they were delicious including the clam juice and a plate of clam strips which they also said were very good.

The Crab Claw is a perennial favorite in historic St. Michaels, MD. Right on the water next to a marina, it offers the feel and views one would expect from a landmark Chesapeake Bay restaurant. Even late in the season in a poor crabbing year, steamed blue crabs were available, but expect to pay up by the end of October... More

Waterfront restaurant that has been there for 50 years. We sat outdoors and it was lovely. The freshest tasting oysters served in a steel bucket with a cup of brine on the side together with warm drawn butter. Delicious. We also had steamed oysters, perfectly done. Couldn't get enough. Next was steamed shrimp. Again very fresh tasting. You can't compare... More

Because many of the recent reviews were lukewarm, we hesitated to return to one of our favorites after not having been in the area for several years. I'm glad we risked it! We got XL crabs which were wonderful, my daughter got the scallops which she said were excellent. We also got sides of veggies - they are large and... More

Stopped in here for lunch after our visit to the lighthouse, what a great surprise! Friends I was with had their Margaritas and said that they were the best the whole weekend! Food and atmosphere was great!

We were sadly disappointed with a place that is always on our list to eat. The very friendly waitress was spread thin working both upstairs and downstairs and couldn't possibly give us decent service. We actually felt sorry for her. Also, some of the food on our plate was cold but as our waitress was not available we are it... More
