Had a great meal, the cream of crab was delicious and the fried oyster was cooked just right. Our server "KC" was really on the JOB in helping us have great evening.

The most expensive ($27) Entre on the menu, I thought It would be special. No mention of Fried at all. Turned out to be a plate of batter-dipped, deep fried carnival food: mostly clams. a few fried oysters, 2 fried shrimp and a crab cake. I was practically sick half thru the crab cake. Unless you like fried food, avoid...

We had large steamed crabs that were oustanding. Loaded with old bay seasoning and served with sides of melted butter and vinegar. The service was excellent and the view of the water is fantastic.
We decided to do the touristy thing and went to The Crab Claw for a true Maryland seafood dinner. The setting and ambiance is nice overlooking the water abd the outdoor seating was extensive. The food overall is average at best. The service was deecnt but the prices were a little high gien the quality of food. It is worth...

We walked down along the harbor to find this quaint outdoor dining experience on the water overlooking the harbor area. Though very informal - all the outdoor seating uses well worn picnic tables - we arrived to find the place...

Have been there more than once. More for the tourist but always is consistent with good food and good service.
The Crab Claw is a standard in St. Michael's and it's greatest asset is its location, on the water next to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. That's also it's weak point - in the summer or on busy weekends, it's just way too crowded. This place is at it's best when there's not a crowd, when the weather is mild...

I had the dieter's delight, which was lump crab meat and fruit. It was great! The view was perfect and the service was very friendly.
A local landmark - great location on St. Michael's harbor. Steamed crabs everywhere. Next to Maritime Museum.
Loved the food, the view, the service! What's not to like about sitting at a picnic table eatting Maryland Softshell Crabs, cold beers, sunshine, and warm weather? Not a thing. We'll be back! White Bear Lake, Minnesota
