We had a fabulous lunch right on the water! Setting could not be any more perfect. Service by Emily was great. Food was plentiful and delicious. Crabs, crab legs, clams and shrimp all yum!

Enjoyed a late Sunday lunch at the crab claw. Our party of four enjoyed crab claws, shrimp, crab cakes, and lobster salad. Nice casual atmosphere with seating inside overlooking the harbor or outside on the deck.

We visited St. Michaels for the day, took the Patriot Boat Tour (highly recommend) and dined for lunch at the Crab Claw. View of the harbor is very nice, and as one other reviewer said, that's what you pay for. My wife had broiled rockfish and I had stuffed rockfish, with cream of crab soup. The fish was rather bland... More

The patio had a great view and they do allow dogs, which is always a plus in our book. Other than that the food and service were average. It looked as though most other diners were having buckets of crab and enjoying the hammering and such. They were raving about the crabs, which we did not have so that might... More

The crabs were great, but don't let the casual feel of the place fool you -- crabs are expensive. For two of us, enjoying 3 small softshells, 2 hardshells, 2 crabcakes and 2 beers came to $100 including tip. Great service, great atmosphere, great crabs.

We came on a Friday night to St Michaels and dropped the hook just outside the harbor area. Came in by dinghy and was happy to find a dinghy dock just around the backside of the restaurant. They were having a private event when we arrived and there was no tables available. The staff didn't seem to have any plan... More

We were at the museum, so we decided to give it a try. Kelly our server was very good. We shared mild buffalo wings. Reminded me of a fried chicken more than buffalo, but good and crispy. Sauce was a bit too mild. Broiled Haddock with crab imperial was very good. St. Michael's prices. You pay for the view. Glad... More

We visited the Crab Claw last Sunday night for dinner while in St Michaels. Out goal was to find some place casual, with a view of the water. Our dinner was of poor quality and portions were very small. My entree fried oyster platter had seven small dried out oysters. My wife's shrimp salad was about a tablespoon and a... More
