Welcome to Bistro St. Michaels. We create food that is rooted in traditional culinary styles, yet modern. We source the highest quality ingredients, purchase sustainable seafood and work with people who raise their animals naturally, as well as partner with farmers for the freshest vegetables available. All of this comes together under the hand of Executive Chef David Hayes, a native of England whose "creative American" cuisine is prepared with a European flair. Many of our items are already gluten free or can be served gluten free. Sunday Brunch

My husband and I had a fantastic brunch here when we arrived in St Michael's. There is limited seating outside on the porch, but plenty inside and upstairs. Inside could definitely use some updating, as its abut stuffy, but for good food and service, I don't mind. We started with Bloody Mary's and... read more

When we called late Saturday evening asking for a table for two we didn't think they would be able to accommodate us. Totally not thinking on our part...(Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend). But as I said, "The dining gods were with us." The lovely hostess found a little niche for us and we were the lucky beneficiary of a... More

If you do not dine here, to say you're missing out is an understatement. Remember to get a reservation because with food and service this good tables go quickly. I'm not one to gush nor have I ever given a restaurant a review; however, this dining experience was beyond perfection. It was dining par excellence. We were in St. Michaels... More

I’d read good things about this restaurant on TripAdvisor before visiting St. Michael’s, so we decided to stop for dinner on our last night in town. The staff is friendly and our waitress even suggested a bottle of wine with which we were not familiar, in order to save my husband money (since the cost of a bottle was much... More

My wife and I were staying around the corner and decided to have dinner here after reading Trip Advisor and Open Table reviews. We both had seafood risotto and a good bottle of wine and loved it. A small place with a lot of charm. Friendly servers. I am sure we will stop again the next time we are in... More

Food was delicious. Good wine list, friendly staff. We enjoyed a quiet Sunday evening dinner at the bar. Michelle, the bartender was very helpful, giving us some great suggestions of things to do in town.

Very disappointed in my meal. Ordered the rack of lamb and it was mostly Fat and not tender at all. For the price we expected better. Do not recommend.

Went for brunch. Fruit plate was served w/ out mars alone and honey. My scrambled eggs had to be sent back to be cooked and my toast wasn't. Plus our server felt the need to tell me that Gruyere was French cheese and truffles were chocolate candies. I hate it when the server assumes you need to be educated.
