Welcome to Bistro St. Michaels. We create food that is rooted in traditional culinary styles, yet modern. We source the highest quality ingredients, purchase sustainable seafood and work with people who raise their animals naturally, as well as partner with farmers for the freshest vegetables available. All of this comes together under the hand of Executive Chef David Hayes, a native of England whose "creative American" cuisine is prepared with a European flair. Many of our items are already gluten free or can be served gluten free. Thank you for taking the time to dine with us. We hope you enjoy our inspiration. Rob & Caroline Pascal, Owners David Hayes, Executive Chef

Wonderful Date Night

My husband and I (and our 7 month old baby) showed up at Bistro exhausted and so hungry. I think, at first, the staff was nervous about our baby in tow. Who wouldn't be on a Saturday night at a lovely French restaurant?! However, they sat us, and somehow, our lively fiesty little baby behaved... read more

We had sunday brunch here in October 2014. We had amazing food, the staff was also terrific! I will definitely be returning here for brunch when we visit this spring!

This is now the third time this year in 2 trips that we ate at Bistro St. Michaels. Each time the hostess (owner?) and wait staff act as if they are extremely happy that you are there. This trip, I had Crab Benedict for brunch and my wife and I enjoyed a special surf & turf for Valentine's Day dinner.... More

The bar in the back is small, but friendly and the drinks are outstanding. We enjoyed talking to others at the bar as well as having our quiet time together.

A perfect place to warm up with good food on a cold winter's night. The oyster appetizer was great, particularly the baked oysters smothered in baked cheese. The quinoa and duck salad was also wonderful. The staff appeared to be just the owners who were attentive, but not overly so. The house Bordeaux tasted flat and possibly open too long.

My group of 16 were part of a retreat at a nearby hotel and decided we needed one night off campus. Our operations manager followed the majority selected Bistro St. Michael's. We were greeted and made to feel at home in the upstairs dinning room. Service was wonderful as was the ambiance. The Food was excellent and I heard nothing... More

We had the entire restaurant to ourselves because of the time of year. The service was excellent. I enjoyed the dinner but could only give it a 4 out of 5 mark.

Re-opened under new ownership not too long ago - had already tried for dinner. Pleased to find open for Brunch on Sunday. Great menu. Classic brunch selections with a modern and/or Eastern Shore twist, eg crabcakes Benedict. We had lemon & poppyseed pancakes which were really light, fluffy, tasty and perfectly complemented by spiced apples and a maple syrup. BLT... More

My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Bistro St. Our server, Paige, was superb and able to make excellent recommendations of both food and wine and the food was a delight. We enjoyed the fig & prosciutto tart, octopus, beef short ribs, a fish special and finished the meal with cheesecake and a bread pudding. Everything was... More

This is the Sister Restaurant Of The Beautiful Harbor Inn Marina & Spa of St. Michaels which I STRONGLY RECOMMEND!! I Made an "Open Table" reservation for a Birthday Dinner for my Special Date! I was looking for somewhat of an Intimate Table. I was seated in a "Corner" but Comfortable seat next to another couple. O.K. The restaurant was... More
