This place is ok in pinch but no way near as good as some of the places closer to DC. more

Awesome food, very basic surroundings (strip mall with cheap tables and chairs and playschool-style adornment). the jerk pork, curried goat and country chicken are just like the islands. and the amount of food you get for your money...you will never leave hungry. they also have the best patties in the area. more

I wish the neighborhood had more spots like this--a great Jamaican takeaway with home-cooked food. For around $7, you pick an entree (jerk chicken, brown stew, goat, or curry) and two sides (bad-for-you delights like collards and mac 'n' cheese). The jerk chicken is my favorite, but believe it when they say "extra hot"--it's face-melting. The counter staff are friendly,... more
