Good choice for Thai

Restaurant seems to have been here forever and i guess the food keeps bringing people back. We had the Kanoom Jeeb as an appetizer and for main courses the basics... shrimp pad thai and chicken curry (Gang Keow Wahn), The curry was HOT but they warn you! Overall excellent quality. Other aspects... read more

Continuing its slide into mediocrity, Benjarong is increasingly using premade commercial sauces, and recently raised prices. Great for a weekday Thai when nearby but definitely no longer an interesting restaurant. Pedestrian at best.

Yes, a good choice! Only thing I found strange: women's restroom is almost sauna temperature : \ Extra hot Other than that: a great choice for Thai restaurant experience

.....been awhile since we have been there....and we were not disappointed when we returned this week for a lunch. A bit expensive for lunch, but food was excellent...as was the friendly service....nice plates...everything was clean.

I've been a few times for dinner over the years and the great food and service always bring me back. (never been there for lunch). They can be pretty busy, but I've never had issues with the service - very attentive and friendly. They serve all of the typical higher-end Thai food, but offer some special dishes tha are really... Ate here in a crowd. Being Canadians they wanted to share dishes, and I went along with that. I however find that Thai when of a high standard has exquisite fresh sharp flavours and my mixed dinner did not come up to the standard I expect, maybe because we have such a high standard of Thai in Sydney. Still it... More

I always have good food when I eat here. Like another reviewer said, it's reliable. The issue I have is that the entrees are too pricey for lunch, in my opinion. I wish they had lunch specials or something. If they did, I would eat here more often since I work very close. The staff is very pleasant and willing... More

The Mr. & I, as well as many friends, have been going here for quite a few years. When not hugely busy, staff are attentive; water glasses are kept full (and I drink a lot of water there). The food is good. They are willing to accommodate a "more spicy" or "less spicy" request when ordering. Personally, I think their... More

Benjarong has the best pad thai I've eaten. The menu is pretty extensive and not too expensive. It's a simple and quiet atmosphere with quick service and good food. I thought the specialty drinks were small and filled with an awful lot of ice, though.

Brought large family group on a Sunday night. They handled us fairly well, it is a large restaurant and seemed to be used to that sort of multigenerational group. Food was only average, even the pad Thai was run of the mill. Interior seemed a little tired.
