Excellent Food for a turnkey resturant

Went in and ordered the Feast for 2, it was more like a feast for 4, it was excellent all dishes were tasty and spiced perfectly. We took friends in on a second try, the food was amazing the Lamb Shank fell off the bone with a hint of Middle Eastern spices. The Pita was fresh baked, it really... read more

I decided to return to this location because I had a good experience the first time I visited (wrote a revue on that visit as well). To my surprise my second visit didn't go so well. I ordered the chicken kabobs which comes with a salad and as I was eating I noticed the tomato looked as though it had... More

A friend and I met for lunch at the Congessional Plaza Lebanese Taverna today. I hadn't been there in a while and we remarked that the wall menus looked different. The cashier assured us that only the colors had been changed, but there were rotisserie chicken items that hadn't been there before. The salad had a new creamy dressing that... More

When writing a Tripadvisor review, it asks you, "Is this one of the best meals you've ever had in a restaurant?" I always hesitate with this one, as there are hundreds of amazing meals I have not reviewed yet. I want it to be deserving. So what makes a meal one of the best? And why did I say, "Yes"... More

My husband and I visited this spot today for lunch. I got the chicken kabobs and he ordered the kafta kabobs. It was both our first time and we both said we would go back! The chicken kababs were well seasoned and the bread was good too. My husband ordered the lemonade which was a pleasant surprise. It didn't taste... More

The food was quite good, and it can serve the purpose for a quick bite, a more substantial (filling!) meal, or even takeout. If eating in, know it's very causal and an order-at-the-counter type setup.

A very simple place where you can enjoy an amazing food! Very clean, good service. totally recommend their daily lentil soup, the chicken is antibiotic and hormone-free, kids eat for for free on Thursdays if an adult buys a platter.

This resturant is very simple. But, simple is good! The staff was very helpful in helping me to decide what to order (1st time). I had the chicken kabob. The veggies were nice and crisp and the chicken was tender and flavorful. It was nice to be able to have a relaxed and quick dinner.

Visiting again the Rockville area we decided to go to the see if the Lebanese Taverna was still as good as we knew it for many years. We found out that it was the same type of food as we were use to. The grilled chicken was very tasteful as well as the hot bread. We were glad to find... More

At a recent visit to Lebanese Taverna I was surprised by the long line despite a near empty dining room. I waited in line for over five minutes before it moved , I had been to other locations before and I was looking forward to the food which is typically good. I was finally waited on and I promptly sat... More
