Very good Atmosphere and food - slow service

The Brio pasta was very good as were the breads. The service was not only slow but I had to ask for water after waiting an extended time. They made a bad raspberry martini which surprised me. Saturday night is not the best time to come.

Surprised at the critical comments. When you consider the many pluses, the few minor minuses are acceptable. The food was delicious. No complaints from any of the 6 of us. Prices are lower and portions larger than Seasons 52, which shares the same free valet parking service. Use it! Our friends parked themselves in the garage, which gives 2 hrs... More

This is the 3rd or 4th Italian restaurant we have tried on our numerous visits to Bethesda, and now it is our absolute favorite! Four of us had lunch here and were all extremely happy with our choices. Service was just right. The decor is very pretty and the tables are spaced nicely apart, enabling our 2 companions, both of... Went with a large family group and had a long table set up off to the side. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. Nice selection on the menu. Dishes definitely had fresh ingredients. Pricey place but great for special occaisions.

The restaurant has great ambiance, good food and service, but unfortunately is quite noisy, so not a place for an intimate experience. The wide tables in the booths make even leaning closer to dining companions to overcome the noise problem difficult.

We just moved into the apartments adjacent to Brio and had high hopes for a nice, regular spot. We've been three times so far. The atmosphere is very nice, and the bar setting is great. Our server the first night was nice enough - a bit annoying with the chit chat, but ok. He took FOREVER to deliver any drink... More

Brio is a typical chain Italian retaurant. It's higher end than Olive Garden, but not some place I'd seek out for dinner. For a business trip, and reliable food, it's fine.

Eating out with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time; ended up at Brios when the original restaurant we had planned on had a very long wait. Very nice place to have a conversation - quiet, pleasant atmosphere. And the food was VERY good! Had one of the 'light' entrees: salmon with fresh veggies cooked to perfection. Friend... More
