This is the second time we have been to La Brasa. The place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but inside there is white linen service and a very warm staff. The food is Latin American and plentiful. I had the tounge with rice and fresh veggie and my husband the Cuban pork and rice and... More

Dont dress up, but don't have lunch either. Great food, nice service, more than tacos and enchiladas - good all around. Do not miss the Tres Leches dessert. My husband and I eat there often just 'cause we miss it. Menu is on the internet and carry out is reliable.

From among the varied menu, we chose fajitas (beef and shrimp), as well as the plantain dessert. The food was excellent - fresh and hot. The service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this local place.

Plantains! And everything else was great, too. We liked it so much that we ate there twice during our three day stay at a nearby business hotel.

I was surprised when I recently noticed La Brasa had the number two rating for Rockville restaurants as I had not heard of it before. When I checked the menu and saw they served trout, one of my favorite dishes, I had to try it. And it was worth it. I had the pan fried trout with rice and salad... More

Went here last night after reading the reviews. Expected it to be a take out kind of place, not a sit down restaurant with a full menu and plenty of wait staff. Place was packed on a Tuesday night at 6:30, with lots of families. Very disappointed by the lack of flavor in the salsa (chips were thick and crunchy... More

My husband and son (visiting from NY) went to La Brasa last night and all 3 of us loved the food. I had always wanted to eat Ropa Vieja and it did not disappoint ! We also had pupusas, chicken fajitas, a steak dish and really delicious mussels. Flan and Tres Leches cake to share for dessert were very tasty,... More

I brought a group here for dinner during our conference. The staff were extremely accommodating and the food was excellent. My fellow diners were from different locations around the world (which can be tricky to find a place that everyone enjoys), and they all loved it. The price was extremely reasonable as well. I would definitely return.
