My husband and I landed here by default after we discovered we did not have the reservation we thought we had at The Kitchen. Bay Wolf was recommended by the director of The Mainstay, where we were headed for a performance, because it was within walking distance and is favored by the locals. He did not steer us wrong. The... More

The food here is very consistently good. An unusual combination of Austrian (think schnitzels and dumplings) and Eastern Shore seafood, plus the usual beef and poultry options. The coconut shrimp are a favorite, as are the imported beers. Friendly service. Half price entree night on Mondays. Many local folk eat here repeatedly. A good small town local restaurant. Family run... More

We were here to celebrate New Years Eve with friends. We all had the well prepared 3 course Surf and Turf dinner. The pricing was reasonable in this friendly and inviting atmosphere. Hildy and Larry and staff managed the full house with warmth and efficiency. They feature a decent wine list and Will makes a mean Martini. We always enjoy... More

A casual restaurant with a stained glass decor a bit reminiscent of a church. Friendly, knowledgable and attentive wait staff, delicious food cooked perfectly. I had the special of the night prime rib. Also good beer and wine selections. We will be back when we're in the area again.

We went for New Years and had a fun time after a bit of a wait for our 6top, even though we had made reservations well ahead. Cocktails were nice and several had the NY special--filet & lobster tail with crab bisque to start & cheese cake dessert. All steaks were done exactly to order and for $28 per dinner... More

Friday night is duck night and it was excellent. Semi boneless with crisp skin. Sauce was great too. Not a high end joint but the bar was nice, (great martini) and friedky patrons. Also Austrian food on the menu.

The food was fine. Nothing great, nothing bad. The server was awful. He was a little snippy with us and we could hear him get snippy with people at other tables as well. The next morning at our B&B we mentioned our experience and our hosts said "oh, you must have gotten xxx as your waiter" and described him exactly.... More

I've been to every restaurant in Rock Hall and the Bay Wolf has the best food, by far. The pepper steak is as good as you would find in any big city restaurant. The staff is friendly and professional. If you happen to be there when the owners are there, they make you feel right at home.

We're not too impressed with this restaurant because of the "same old" menu. The summer menu is always the same. The winter version is always the same. The Monday nights 1/2 price is a good deal, but its the same menu as it was 3 months ago. Their vegetables could have a redo. The decor in the dining room could... More

My husband and I have been to Bay Wolf three times because the food is quite good; however, after receiving disappointing service again, we probably won't be back. Our server treated us like we were a bother. When we were placing our order we said we'd share our entrée...He said very curtly, "That will be a five dollar charge"... hmmmm....... More
