Description: A contemporary restaurant with critically acclaimed food finds a home in...
A contemporary restaurant with critically acclaimed food finds a home in an early American home at The Grill at Harryman House. The home built in 1791 features a chestnut and oak log cabin, bright porches, and a spacious "great--room--style" dining room all of which is outfitted with timeless American furnishing, candle light, fine china, silverware, and crystal. At The Grill at Harryman House, our menu is developed around seasonal ingredients and as many local and organic ones that we can find. Dishes originate from a fusion of American and international influences, presented in a simple and accessible style. We call this "New Urban Cuisine," reflecting the modern sensibilities of supporting sustainable farming, enjoying sophisticated and excellent food, and gathering in a beautiful but casual atmosphere. The Grill at Harryman House is a neighborhood restaurant. We pride ourselves on friendly and attentive service, and look forward to welcoming you for lunch, Sunday brunch, dinner, or a cocktail sometime soon.

Delicious

This is not an inexpensive restaurant but the quality and atmosphere make up for the cost. The selections are delicious and this is especially good for a cold winter evening!

There were eight in our party. We went during Baltimore County Restaurant Week to celebrate the retirement of a dear friend. Some ordered the restaurant week menu and some orderes of tge regular menu. Everyone enjoyed theri meal. I had the cocao crusted filet. The flavor was great. I ordered the steak to be cooked medium but it was more... More

Nice dining in a rustic building. This place is amazing. The service is great, food is great, and the decor makes you feel like your money is well spent. My wife and I have been twice, both experiences have been amazing. We were well taken care of by the wait staff, and the food has been consistently delicious. I would... More

We attended a family party for 60 people. Limited menu but food was very good and service was incredible for so may people. Crab cake good although a bit on the small side. Crab soup was good and spicy. Good pour on drinks. Looking forward to a return to experience full menu. Vegan dish my wife said was one of... More

I went to Harrymans House for brunch and was very pleased by the atmosphere and the staff. Food was very good and the service was wonderful. Great place to go with friends or on a romantic date. I live within walking distance and this was my first visit and I must say, I will be back.

I ate here years ago and it was very good. Recently I went with a group of 6 co-workers and has an awful experience. The place looked run down and somewhat dirty. The waiter was sloppy and spilled a drink and water on the table. It was a round table against another decorative table and the waiter kept reaching over... More

I recently dined out with my girlfriend at the Harryman House Restaurant. It was certainly an interesting atmosphere being in a building that is very unique. We were seated at a small table in the back past the bar area so it was very cozy and private. The food was good and the drinks were strong..almost a bit too strong!... More

I have been here once for Sunday brunch and once during Baltimore, County Restaurant Week, and had excellent service and wonderful food on both occasions. Without the discount of Restaurant Week it is a bit pricey, but you do feel like it was worth it.

My husband and I have eaten here many times over the years. It used to be a little more of a fine dining experience without pretentiousness. In recent years they've made it more of a casual atmosphere. The food and service has always been good. They change the menu from time to time and have creative chefs that aren't afraid... More

My wife and I had a quiet dinner here on a week night for a small celebration. We were seated in a small dining room with rustic walls off of the main building and next to the enclosed porch. A large party in the same dining room was a bit loud, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. Our meal was excellent... More
