We love dining at Normandie Farms especially with out of town friends who are always delighted with the ambiance and the wide variety of dishes - especially the complimentary popovers! The service is excellent and the front desk people are polite and helpful.

This wonderful restaurant is a favorite of my mother and me. Only restaurant where I've had popovers; they are delicious AND complimentary. It's a bit pricey but the service is incomparable and the luncheon choices are varied. Have tried several things including the luncheon salads, fish and chips, the special of the day, etc. Fabulous desserts and the setting is... More

After reading some of the reviews here I wasn't sure what to expect, but to my surprise it was quite lovely. Our waiter was very helpful and when we had questions helpful. The food was good and as a reviewer wrote the popovers which were fun to eat, were overdone. When we pointed it out to the waiter, they asked... More

I have been to this restaurant more than 30 times over the last 30 years, but I will never go back. They have busloads of tourists just like a Denny's, and the food has gotten worse than Denny's. The furnishings are old and threadbare, and the manager is an (something that rhymes with glass bowl.) I used to go there... More

I haven't had a regular dinner here in years, when my parents wanted to go here. However, it was by far the nicest Sports banquet I've attended. Very close, well prepared food, classy dinnerware. Great room for presentations. But no one our age would dine here regularly. It's from another era.

This is an fine, atmospheric restaurant. Their trademark is the serving of a huge, fresh Popover at the beginning of the meal. They offer fresh, tasty meals with large servings. The rooms are attractive with large fireplaces which are very nice on cold evenings. They also offer a killer brunch buffet on Sundays, with reservations required. The restaurant is also... More

My wife and I have had the opportunity to dine at Normandie farm Restaurant in Potomac, Maryland, 3 times over the past 2 months and have found the food and service to be excellent. The ambiance is that of an old French country inn with fireplaces at both ends of a comfortable dining room and the tables spread nicely apart... More

We have been there a number of times, and always appreciate the ambience. Yesterday's lunch was the best ever, with delicious entrees and good French onion soup and the best gazpacho I have ever had. The language barrier is a challenge, but the food and ambience are always worthy. And the history is extraordinary. If it's good enough for Eleanor... More

When you feel in the need for those magnificent popovers, you have to visit Normandy Farm! While it still has that country atmosphere, it is now surrounded by real suburbia but still a special go to place for special events! We always have a wonderful meal with a wonderful atmosphere!

Nice ambiance. Good service. Moderate Prices. Food ranges from very good to OK. Sunday Brunch is particularly nice. They have some signature food that is as good as it gets--namely their Popovers which go with any meal. Menu is limited and not very elegant for a French Resteraunt but the food is tasty. The very large facility is good for... More
