Service was great, ambiance was excellent. The baked scallops and lobster salad were delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. I especially like the Bearnaise sauce on the scallops. It was both light and creamy. The crab soup was also excellent though a bit saltier than I like. Our guests especially liked how quiet it was even though it was fairly busy... More

Went with out of town friends, who insisted we try it. As long term Potomac residents (30 years,) we were of course familiar with Normandie Farm. Unfortunately, we were once again disappointed. We dined on a quiet weekday evening. Only two other tables were occupied. My wife's chicken was tough and tasteless, my fish was average at best. Reminiscent of... More

Always enjoyable, with nice servers and good food. Have had their brunch and dinner on several different occasions. Of course the popovers are to die for!! I have been to and hosted several brunches here. Friends got married here years ago too. :) Consistent all around. :)

We stopped here with friends, who told us about the restaurant's history (dating back to its prior location at what is now the Watergate Hotel). While the restaurant has a feel of staidness, the menu was updated, and the food extremely good, with enormous portions. The service was extremely attentive, and it was a wonderful experience.

I have eaten at Normandie Farm numerous times for dinner and lunch. The place is usually empty and the meals mediocre. WEnt for Sunday brunch and its a completely different ambience and food. The buffet - divided into hot and cold selections is excellent and include raw oyster, lox, variety of salads and hot entrees Will return for brunch only... More

The Sunday brunch is very good, but dinners are disappointing. The ambiance is nice and the service is variable

Our son was married in Rockville on April 25 and we held the rehearsal dinner at Normandie Farm. It was absolutely fantastic. Kay, the manager, handled every detail with excellence and superb taste. We had a party of 90 and used the banquet rooms in the back of the restaurant. No detail was left out in assuring each and every... More

I recently took my daughter to Normandie Farm for afternoon tea for a special birthday. The 1st thing we got, beside some tasty Chai tea, was a huge Popover. Normandie Farm is known for that popover. Next, we went to the buffet. They had all kinds of tea sandwiches, both open-faced and closed - tuna, salmon, cucumber - so many... More
