gut geschmeckt!

Not much to look at on the outside, but once you enter Prost, it's like stepping across the threshold into Bavaria. Everything about the interior is authentic German, right down to the servers' uniforms and the Euro-pop in the speakers. Food is flavorful and filling, and their beer and wine... read more

My wife and I went at lunch time. Both lunch and dinner menus were available. We were warmly greeted. Service was very friendly and prompt. Waitress was helpful about the food and great selection of beer. Food was delicious and plentiful. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely return.

Small restaurant big flavor. Large menu if you leave hungry it's your own fault.Great selection. Everything tasted wonderful. Great deserts too. One of the owners or managers had a bakery in Germany I was told.

Driving home from Longwood Gardens and looking for somewhere to eat dinner we noticed this place. I have never been to a German Restaurant but I think this was a very pleasant surprise. The food and service was quite good. I would eat here again without hesitation. The portions are hearty.

Worth the drive for good German food and a fantastic selection of German beers. We dined there for lunch, with the option to order from the lunch menu and the dinner menu. Pricey (over $100 for 3 of us) but well worth it. Spaetzle and pork schnitzel were delicious, while the turnip soup and cheese soup were warm and tasty.... More

We lived in Germany many years ago and loved the experience. Over the years I've been disappointed with so many "wanna be" German restaurants. This is the REAL THING. We were a group of 7 and the service was great and the food was the best I have had since we left Sohren, Germany. The main courses and the sides... More

My wife was born in Germany and moved here with her family when she was young. She grew up "German" so she knows real German food from just pretend. Eating at Prost reminds us both of Sunday Dinner at Mom's. Great food, excellent beer selection and deserts that are to die for. When they brought out the desert tray at... More

This place is just fun! A great accordion player, a fabulous German beer selection (German wine too), and a decent menu of German favorites like Weiner schnitzel, sour beef, warm homemade soft pretzels and more. We started with some shared appetizers including the onion rings, delicious baked camembert and pretzels with dipping mustard. Yum. With 8 of us at the... More

If you are looking for something a little different or if you love good, basic German food give Prost a try. It's a short distance off I-95 in Port Deposit, MD. We tried them recently on a cold Sunday afternoon and the first thing we learned is that they believe in beer. In addition to a number of imported choices... More

Can't imagine how this place is staying in business - except perhaps the nice cold beer or unsuspecting people driving by on Rt 95? This is the worst lunch we've ever had and it was not cheep. Waitress was nice but food was tasteless and cold. Go around the corner to Craigtown Market for a chicken salad sandwich which will... More
