Dinner

The wait staff were very friendly and attentive, the hostess not so much. The salad bar was pretty fresh, but my meal itself was not very appetizing. There were out of a lot on the menu, maybe they should consider an off season menu.

Returning from a trip down the Delmarva peninsula to the VA part of the peninsula on Black Friday, we looked for a restaurant that would offer the area seafood specialties... not much between Accomac, VA and Maryland. This one fit the bill, with comfortable booths. I had the seafood platter with all kinds of fish and seafood... it was excellent,... More

While traveling though Maryland we Stopped at Don's Seafood and Chicken house. We ordered food to go. It was very good. My husband had the fried oyster sandwich and I had the shrimp skins. Don's is on our list of places to stop at when we are in the area.

During a recent lunch stop at Don’s Seafood and Chicken House in Pocomoke, MD, my wife and I made a marvelous discovery: Sweet Potato Smith Island Cake. For those unaware, Smith Island cake is a traditional Maryland dessert (the official State dessert) that originated from the island region of the same name over 100 years ago. This labor-intensive confection features... More

The service was great, the food was great, and we would come back here again. Seafood and burgers were both solid, great local atmosphere, didn't have a better experience in the area during our stay.

I was traveling back to Washington from Norfolk and decided to take a different route. Was in the area and around lunch time. We decided to pull-off and try Don's. As it was a Sunday, they had a special that included a half-pound of shrimp and clams and corn. The only disappointing thing about the meal was the clams. A... More

Seated right away--fairly empty, but it was a week night....maybe should have taken the emptiness as a hint...seemed like a lot of locals liked it tho. Special was steamed shrimp and steamed clams. With Old Bay. The shrimp was good- and fresh, but I guess if a little Old Bay is good, a LOT is better? No, not really. Once... More

Wish we would have know. Terrible food. Terrible service. Atmosphere was local bar dingy. We spent $45.00 on a crab cake that was mostly filler, rockfish which was fried hard beyond recognition. Did not want to make it right even after we complained because we ate most of it. Well, she didn't check back and we were completely ignored. No... More

We have stopped here before for lunch, but decided to try dinner, as we were working our way north on RT. 13. Wife had the steamed clams with boiled shrimp. I had the 3 shrimp entree - bacon wrapped, scampi, and fried. Both meals came out quick and cooked nicely. My sweet potato fries were flavored with cinamon and sugar,... More

Restaurant was up the street from our motel. Didn't look like much but the food was good and the beer cold. They had Fat Tire on draft. Sweet potato fries were covered in cinnamon sugar. Yummy. They served rock fish. A bit over cooked but a difficult fish to find. I'd eat here again
