we were visiting this area and stopped in for a late breakfast. Very popular place judging from the capacity crowd. They advertise large omelettes and they are not kidding! I had the western omelette which was rather dry.it needed more cheese or something. I had to add ketchup in order to eat it but did not finish it. My husband... More

I went to the 1st Suburban House (a few miles away) but stopped going when it became dirty and the food became inferior. It had since burned down and they relocated. I was interested to see how the "new" Suburban House would be. When it opened, it was of course clean, the food excellent, the portions huge and the wait... More

Best pastrami and corned beef outside of NYC! Everything was perfect - tasty food, casual comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff!

Living in NC is great but they have no idea what real deli is. On a trip to Baltimore I was told of the Suburban House. This is a pretty good deli especially when you are coming from NC. I think my only complaint would be with the lack of a really good deli bread. I'm used to the Detroit... More

While the old location had its faults, it also had its charm. The new location still has its faults, but it lost the charm. There is one decent waitress in the place. You get better service from the busboys than from the rude waitresses. We had a new waitress yesterday for breakfast. She provided good service. Let's hope she does... More

I've been to the old and new location. Actually, the best thing that could have happened to the old place did. The floors used to be so slick from grease it was hard to walk through that place. The restaurant is located where Fuddruckers used to be on Reisterstown Road just inside of the Beltway. It's got a ton of... More

I was a customer at the old location, but stopped going when it became too dirty, the food was spoiled or tasteless, the service was awful I looked forward to the new location, but it too has gone downhill. The portions are huge, but if the food isn't good, and the service reprehensible it doesn't matter. Until yesterday the service... More

My son, my friend and I had been going to Suburban House quite a bit, even though the prices are somewhat high. We have a problem regarding the way they do not separate the checks when requested. I do understand why everyone cannot get separate checks because some people could walk out without paying. Some of the waitresses are very... More

S & H, as it is known in Baltimore, is an old fashioned deli. The breakfasts are quite good and the sandwiches can be monstrous. You might want to split them. The hostess acted like we were interrupting her, so management may way to check her attitude. It is not a good first impression...The waitress was very friendly, but disappeared.... More

This is a casual dining place with a deli in front. I ordered the chicken cheese steak sub for $8 and was quite surprised at the portion, which was twice as big as I expected. The sub was very good with alot of chicken. The location is a little tough considering the traffic on Reisterstown Road, but I would definitely... More
