Back for a second time. My first visit was favorable I hope to repeat the experience.... First off coffee was served luke warm so that when I took my first sip it turn cold. Corrected to my liking. Order taken promptly, food served Surprising fast. After my first bite I realize why. Although my three cheese omelet egg portion was... More

Fine for what it is. You can get an excellent smoked fish platter with your choice of nova or belly lox, kippered salmon or white fish salad. The portions are generous. Huge omelettes and sandwiches. Crowded on Sunday's.

In my youth back when I worked for minimum wage of $1 an hour this place and its then next door neighbor the Pikes Theater were the hot spots to be. I never had a problem with their food but their prices seemed incredibly steep from my point of view. I remember going along to be along that I ended... More

Went with six people for dinner last night. The deli sandwiches were loaded and the corned beef was great, but if you get the tongue, don't have them heat it up, as they seem to fry it rather than steam it hot and it destroys the taste and texture. The turkey platters looked good, and the matzoh ball in the... More

We ordered Reubens but couldn't decide between the corned beef and pastrami so we ordered one of each and shared them. The sandwiches are so loaded it's hard to get your mouth around them. Lots of tender meat, not just kraut. Sandwiches were a little dry but asked for additional Thousand Island Dressing and fixed them right up. The onion... More

Growing up in Pikesville, this was the major neighbourhood deli. Like a New York deli, it has a massive menu and a selection of take-home foods at the front of the store. Unlike a New York deli, space is not at a premium and there was a bit of space to move around. That Suburban House burned down in the... More

Set up like a 'Jewish style deli' although not kosher , this place is well staffed and has a comfortable atmosphere. The mishmah soup was served warm and was big enough to feed two people. The egg salad was served on soft fresh rye bread with lettuce and tomato and was perfectly made, tasty. The coleslaw served was crispy and... More

We ordered corned beef sandwiches and onion rings and drinks. I told the waitress we wanted the corned beef to be freshly sliced, and lean and warmed up. None of the above happened. In fact, the meat was tough, and tasteless ! The onion rings were good. Very disappointing experience.

We stopped in for breakfast while staying at a local hotel. Portions were large and prices fair. Some unusual choices on the menu. The restaurant has banners on the building instead of signs, so it can be easily missed from the road. I would eat here again.
