We all know that bagels are not just bagels and the really good ones stand out. To take that one step further, going to Goldberg's late Saturday night after being out and picking them up fresh from the oven is simply the best. I dare anyone doing this NOT to eat at least one before you get home!!

Got an assortment for breakfast..pumpernickel, marble, everything, and a bialy. All fantastic, chewy, not bready, just the way bagels should be.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Know that It's more of a breakfast place opened from 6 am to 2 pm. The first day we went, they were already closed. They made great bagels, cookies, pancakes, etc. it's not fancy but tastes great and they have a lot of seating.

Delicious bagels in a a take-out or sit-in strip mall location. It'll be hard finding a set on Sunday brunch time. Modest menu of dairy dishes and bagel sandwiches. Great selection of bagels that are always freshly baked. Moderate selection of kosher low fat muffins, regular muffins, pastries and cookies. Under kosher supervision and observant of holidays and Shabbat. My... More

This Zagat rated kosher restauarant has fantastic bagels and serves a quick, reasonably priced breakfast. It is clearly a local favourite, as we were tehre twice and both times the place had a steady flow of customers from all walks of life.

The bagels are delicious, soups are homemade and good as well. The service is 'abrupt East Coast Deli-Style', if that's a style. Everyone knows everyone else there, which can be fun to watch as an outsider. A good place to eat if you keep Kosher out of the home. The ambiance is non-existent but who cares when the bagels are... As a transplanted New Yorker I miss miss miss the wonderful ethnic food so casually obtainable. Goldberg's provide my bagel and pastry fix when I just can't bear it anymore. Now if I could only find a real New York style pizzeria in the columbia area, I'd be happy. Usually we just get takeout, but I have eaten here on... More

Service is pretty lousy. Depends on who is at the counter. They've lost two phone-in orders. And, please, whatever you do, don't eat in the restaurant. It is the filthiest, messiest, craziest place ever. The floors are constantly covered in dropped food. BEST BAGELS in the entire Baltimore area.
