excellent crab cakes and potato salad was over the top, relaxed and casual - can eat on the deck or in the restaurant

Spent some time in Oxford, and loved going to Schooner's, which is right on the Bay. Had perhaps the best soft shell crabs I ever ate, fried in a light tempura-like batter. Next night I joined some other customers for steamed crabs, fresh from the Bay that were fantastic. Outdoor bar is right on the water. Great beer selection. Bill,... More

I have had dinner here twice on summer evenings. It's a big crowd on a big deck, and the music can be loud. But it's a fun atmosphere for all ages and the food is actually both better and cheaper than it has to be. Our group of 7, comprised of 3 adults and 4 teens, ordered 3 beers, 3... More

Came here on a beautiful night in early July. Sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and the views. Very lively place filled with local boating people and tourists. Very good crab cakes and good service. Would return here for casual dining. Prices reasonable.

Oxford MD is a sleepy quaint town at the end of a Peninsula turning to the Chesapeake Bay. Visitors love to come and see the old homes and the pretty shoreline and Harbor. A fun relaxed place to eat on your day trip is Schooner's Landing. It faces the harbor , has an outdoor bar and tables and even some... More

Very reasonably priced food, a wonderful view, and tasty dishes. We wanted something convenient but were happy to find good food and good service. They even offered a couple of cajun dishes, my personal favorite.

lovely water-side deck for very casual dinner with a bar atmosphere. Choice of indoor seating is available as well. The Mahi fish sandwich was fantastic, fries were okay. The menu is varied, though a little pricey for the portions. Don't forget to save room for the creamery around the back - GREAT ice cream!

The food's good, nothing fancy but it doesn't pretend to be. If weather permits sit outside along the boat slips where sailors mix easily with the local watermen. The dining area is covered for those hot Chesapeake days.

My son joined me for dinner at Schooners the other night because he always finds something he likes on the menu. As the captain of an ocean going fishing vessel he's ben around a lot of fish and he knows what's good. Dining on the dock is always fun and the bar turns out some novel drinks and for me... More

We stopped in for drinks after dinner. It was a nice walk from main street down to the bar. We were there at night and off season, so no chance to try out the outdoor dining. It's pretty basic inside, a true locals bar. The staff was friendly and service was top notch, no complaints, it fulfilled exactly what we... More
