Oxford MD is a sleepy quaint town at the end of a Peninsula turning to the Chesapeake Bay. Visitors love to come and see the old homes and the pretty shoreline and Harbor. A fun relaxed place to eat on your day trip is Schooner's Landing. It faces the harbor , has an outdoor bar and tables and even some... More

Very reasonably priced food, a wonderful view, and tasty dishes. We wanted something convenient but were happy to find good food and good service. They even offered a couple of cajun dishes, my personal favorite.

lovely water-side deck for very casual dinner with a bar atmosphere. Choice of indoor seating is available as well. The Mahi fish sandwich was fantastic, fries were okay. The menu is varied, though a little pricey for the portions. Don't forget to save room for the creamery around the back - GREAT ice cream!

The food's good, nothing fancy but it doesn't pretend to be. If weather permits sit outside along the boat slips where sailors mix easily with the local watermen. The dining area is covered for those hot Chesapeake days.

My son joined me for dinner at Schooners the other night because he always finds something he likes on the menu. As the captain of an ocean going fishing vessel he's ben around a lot of fish and he knows what's good. Dining on the dock is always fun and the bar turns out some novel drinks and for me... More

We stopped in for drinks after dinner. It was a nice walk from main street down to the bar. We were there at night and off season, so no chance to try out the outdoor dining. It's pretty basic inside, a true locals bar. The staff was friendly and service was top notch, no complaints, it fulfilled exactly what we... More

Schooner's is so great eating outside on the water. Service is usually decent, nothing over the top and the food is what you would expect. We really go there because we love the atmosphere of the bay.

Sat inside because of heat . Only 1other couple there so we were completely ignored. The hamburg was so over cooked that it was not worth eating. When asked if I wanted cheese on the hamburg I requested blue cheese and received blue cheese dressing. The fries must have been refried and were the worst I have ever tried. Not... More

It sounds so kitchy, or touristy...the restaurant with umbrella'd picnic tables, an outdoor bar with a band where you eat crabs, and sunburned people who sing golden oldies quite unabashedly. But its really just fun. Order up those crabs and make a mess of yourself, or try the scallops with thai sauce which are so delicate or top a salad... More

We spent the morning walking the beautiful, quite streets of Oxford and found our way to Schooner's Landing for a fantastic on-the-water lunch. The fried green beans and fried pickles are delish!
