Latitude 38 has a bistro atmosphere with the walls filled with art from local artists. Our two seperate dining areas and a 20 seat bar give our guests a choice in ambience. Our fabulous menu changes every two weeks and offers local seasonal fare prepared by our Chef Doug Stewart. The menu offers full and half entrees and a few lite fare options as well. We can host private parties for rehearsal dinners, showers, engagement paties and of course cater off premise as well.Make sure to visit us when in Oxford. We promise a great dining experinece.

Latitude 38 is a local jewel of Oxford, Maryland and the Eastern Shore. Located on the road into Oxford, Maryland (speed limit 25, zealously enforced by the constabulary!), this restaurant provides an ambitious menu and warm hospitality at a reasonable cost. The menu changes about every 2 weeks, so there is always something new to explore. The chef is greatly... More

My wife was celebrating her birthday so I called Latitude 38 a few minutes before we got there to check to see if they had room for a table of 2. The hostess said sure come on in. Upon arriving there was a lively atmosphere and plenty of tables to chose from. On one side of the bar they were... More

It's pub food and a varied menu. Good seafood dishes, burgers. Servings are ample. It's not gourmet or fine dining. Prices are fair. It caters to an older crowd, probably because of the prices and the food is mostly 'comfort food'.

It was prime rib night and one in our group ordered The prime rib and was really disappointed. The other people in our group ordered the cioppino and it was uneven within the dish. The scallops were very good, the clams were gritty, and a number of the mussels did not open. The waitress was very friendly and made the time... More

You could miss the restaurant if you didn't know it was there. The building hides behind an old fashioned one pump gas station, but what a surprise when you go inside. Lovely rooms decorated with art by local artists showcase wonderful food. The locals prefer the bar section where there are nightly specials. We ate in the dining room the... More

Friendly place. Food can be variable; one time delicious, the next meh. No outdoor dining so best in cold weather. Gas pump out front can be off-putting, but ignore it as restaurant is very nice inside.

The food was great. It was our second visit. The restaurant offers free transportation to and from. I called, left a message for a reservation and a pick-up time. When I didn't hear anything, I assumed we would be picked up. We weren't. When I called to inquire, I was told the owner gets the messages, but she wasn't in... More

This is the most welcoming little eastern shore treasure. The staff can't do enough. You can choose to be very casual and have good lite fair at the bar; or you can sit in the dining room and be served elegantly by a fireplace with well prepared, value priced home cooking. There's an option to have half a portion which... More
