This little restaurant always does great sushi. It is always fresh and the service is tops. I love the different rolls that they offer

What a fantastic surprise. We happened to be in the area and spent the next three days speaking only about this meal. The sushi was phenomenal, we had the sashimi combo (deluxe?) and the Alaska beach role (salmon, spicy with crunch). Can't recommend enough, was a winner.

Sushi Ya's spicy tuna is our gold standard. After eating at some of the best Japanese restaurants up and down the East Coast, we continue to crave the tuna that Sushi Ya prepares. Their seafood is ALWAYS very fresh and well prepared. The tuna tartar is not to be missed. For a local establishment that should be rated tops in... More

Quiet place, set back off main road in Valley Center. Decent food, decent service. Average prices. Can't think of anything totally outstanding. Nice neighborhood restaurant.

We don't go there pretty often but when we go the service is on point food very tasty and they are kids friendly. Great value meal. You should check this place out if you ever out in OM.

My bf and I go to sushi ya twice a month. We've tried pretty much the entire menu by now and we have never been disappointed. Their specialty rolls are well balanced the staff are always friendly. We've even been there pretty late and they have never rushed us out. An excellent sushi place with solid food. Pricing is average... More

Nice ambiance, good sushi. Like so many places on the outskirts of Baltimore, located in a strip center. Service is very attentive.

We are on a long college tour and needed a Japanese food experience. This was the best recommendation by TripAdvisor in the area. Nondescript mall with no sign out front indicating Sushiya is within. Nice decor inside. Proprietors apparently Korean. I was surprised they had monkfish liver (ankimo) as a special. It was fresh and good. Kids had that glass-marble... More

My partner and I used to travel to Federal Hill for sushi before we stumbled upon Sushi YA. The sushi is consistently fresh, well prepared and the service is excellent. The tuna tartar with cavier is mindblowing. One down side to living in the burbs is the lack of quality restaurants where one can truly enjoy the evening. Sushi YA... More
