The sushi might be great here, my daughter loves it, but she recently had a very bad experience recently while trying to order take out. She arrived to order take out, and the place was practically empty. When she tried to order, the woman at the front gave her a very slow eye blink like it was just too much... More

Amazing sushi with large variety of options. Everything is super fresh and tastes amazing. Their traditional rolls are great but you need to try their speciality rolls. There is one for every taste bud! They are not super fast so plan on taking some time if you are dining in. If you are ordering carry out, be sure to call... More

Superb quality that puts all other suburban locales to shame... There are options for diners who might prefer chicken or beef entrees (cooked, of course). The soups and salads are exquisite. Rolls, sushi and sashimi are heavenly. Try everything at least twice.

Very good Sushi food. No 5 stars because the ambiance is a little lacking, but overall a very good Sushi place based on the food quality alone.

We have been to Wasabi Zen several times over the past few years....sushi still decent....but the service is really hung backwards! Tools us 20 minutes to have our order taken after we were seated. Only one server for the restaurant and she also ran the cash register. Our initial drink order was also served with the miso soup. Table was... More

We have tried different sushi restaurants, but we always think that this is the best. The place is small, one of the waitress is not that friendly, the rest of them are very good. Overall good restaurant.

Went there for lunch. Place empty but waitress did not pay attention to us. Had chicken teriyaki & chicken over cooked, boiled with bland sauce poured over. Dumplings inedible. I have been to this place dozen of times & decent but it has gone downhill. & it is over priced. It is better to drive to Rockville for decent sushi... More

We're Onley locals and have heard of Wasabi Zen forever...but tried it for the first time yesterday. The interior is fresh and bright. Service friendly and not rushed. We had a variety or rolls - all very good. Presentation was a bit messy. Not the best sushi we've had, but a nice addition to our neighborhood repetoire.

This little place is my favorite for Sushi. Honestly have never ordered anything else on the menu so I can't attest to all the food. That being said, I will say the rolls are all made with creative, fresh ingredients. My family loves the Hawaiian sunset. Try the green tree roll if you like eel and the California Yammy is... More

Incredible sushi combinations, always fresh and creative, very friendly, loyal to locals. Favorites are 911 roll with spicy tuna and crab, Las Vegas with tempura shrimp and crab, spicy rainbow. Family loves the teriaki and katsu as well. A truly wonderful local place and among the best sushi in the DC area.
